Loved the comment" Long is frustrated being dropped regularly after scoring or playing well in games ". He must of been stunning as there are not too many games he has made the net bulge - journalism?
Yeah I'm curious too... and would you say any of this has been leaked from our end? Thinking Telegraph piece in particular.
I can see Reed and the rest having a serious chat in the post-season review, but I can't see him being fired. My only proviso would be if we are sold and the new owner(s) want a change....but under those circumstances I hope they are real footballing people.
Do not know how far the sale of the club is to new owners but there might be a perception that someone like Ranieri would attract op quality talent. Obviously, I am just speculating. If the decision was to part with Puel (I think he deserves a second season) then the only British manager who is remotley good enough is Brendan Rodgers!
That would be hilarious, would especially love to see the backtracking from some of our fans if he actually did alright for us aswell
Personally I think Emery would be a great fit for Saints. Think we're the kind of club he could re build his reputation at, and would be wary of moving to the so called bigger clubs after his PSG experience?
Completely a personal view of mine, but you would think so. We're hardly Arsenal or Utd; Puel is hardly Wenger or Jose. A lot of neutrals will hardly care about our managerial situation. So for this many papers putting reports out there, you would think that there is some level of substance - however small.
