So in a nutshell they think he will go because he's been heckled by our fans. Don't expect it to happen but if he were to go for this reason then people can hang their heads in shame. I like everyone on this board but I really really dislike some of our fan base.
It was a bad display and as supporters we don't really have many options to communicate in numbers other than Boo/Cheer I would guess a few booed because they watched a **** football match, not because they necessarily want the manager sacked
They probably just looked on Facebook/Twitter and saw the amount of people who want him gone and though that it was representative of the fanbase as a whole. Football fans in general are reactive morons whose opinions will change in a very short space of time so I wouldn't read too much into it as hopefully our board has a bit more patience and a lot more insight into the goings on at the club and Puel will stay.
I didn't mean the match as my basis for my post, just generally over the season. The twitter fans and Facebook ones irk me the most. They are laughable at times.
I would respectfully suggest that people who boo their own team when things don't go their way should find another hobby, because they clearly don't have a ****ing clue about football.
I think Puel has been in football long enough to know the fickleness of fans. Hero one minute, zero the next and so on. Never nice to be unpopular, but he will also know it isn't everyone or anywhere near it.
Very true You should support YOUR team at all times Sometimes they play well sometimes they don't but you should still support them If you don't you are not a supporter of saints but a --------
As far as I'm concerned. if I can lay claim to victories because I am a fan, I have to accept the bad play as well. You don't love your children only when they are good.
If Puel wants to leave a club because of Twitter abuse then he is sensitive beyond belief. I find it very hard to believe a former midfield hardman is crying himself to sleep because Dave123Saint said: "Puel sucks. And snooker is boring." Just rubbish.
Damn. Don't suppose you've got a book on this parenting lark I could borrow? Seems I may need to brush up on my skills....
Yeah, as said above. Support the team, especially when the game is in progress. The most audible boo was the sub of Gabbiadini for Long. Even if it feels like removing live bullets for blanks, a player like Long doesn't deserve that and he is more than capable of scoring at this level.
Heres the original piece. https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Act...pour-une-deuxieme-saison-a-southampton/797506
Thought it was bang out of order, especially when it was clear Gabbi wasn't really getting into the game.
