Match Day Thread Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal

Discussion in 'Tottenham Hotspur' started by PleaseNotPoll, Apr 28, 2017.

  1. It was the little cheating **** trying to still say it hit his torso - AFTER he got the decision - which pissed me off. He didn't even need to falsely feign innocence, but it was so intrinsic to his nature that he couldn't help himself.
And so soon after being shown up as a cheating little **** against Leicester!! <laugh>

Oliver's got a great view of that and Sanchez just looks really guilty. Didn't want to give another one, I guess.

  3. That was mentioned in commentary. But they completely missed the post-event delusion/cheating with him tapping his chest when it clearly hit his arm.
    As I said, cheating little ****!! <laugh>

Yeah, he lost his nerves. Not sure why this happens to refs. Penalty or not, easy decision! Disregard everything else, simple.

I'm am just in awe of this Spur team , what a club they are this 2016 -2017 season . And they were nothing to sneeze at last season either . Win the title or not , you all should be proud of your efforts these last two seasons . A big club without an ego , well done gents .. and it ain't over yet .

Just got back from a pulsating WHL. Walked out of the ground with tears in my eyes after such a wonderful bashing of our greatest rivals. Loved every minute of that today. Eating humble pie over my many dislikes of Pochettino and so excited about where this journey is taking us.

    COYS

P.S. Great to see the legend that's Jurgen back at the Lane today.

Thanks. It's a joy to see Mauricio Pochettino building this team. It's not been built out of huge spending. There's an English core to it. Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eric Dier will be the spine of the English team for years to come. Today we had Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier in for the best full backs in the league and Mousa Dembele nursing a knock and it was business as usual.
    It
We've had a lot of injuries to important players and it hasn't hampered us apart from a run of 4 draws when Harry Kane first got injured. Had we won 2 of those, we'd be top, but that's football. However, there have been two teams that have been clearly better than the rest. Third last year, second this.....

P.s. can we have Gylfi back next season?

Your already guilty of having Gylfi , it's an overlook almost equal to Fergie having Pogba for peanuts and then splashing the cash to get him back . The funny thing is Spurs usually don't error in character that way but they did with Siggy .

Arsenal fan tv isn't as entertaining as I thought it would be. Many of the fans talking some sense.

The end of video advertising of Ozil tshirts is quite amusing though. Clearly they're trying to promote the **** out of them as there's a load of stock they can't get rid of for obvious reasons! <laugh>

Mauricio Pochettino said earlier in the season that he is the one departure that he regrets but that he'd made his mind up to go before MP was appointed and he could do nothing about it. He'd have got the best out of him but he might have hampered Dele's development? Who knows?

Saw Tom Carroll play well again for you guys. Really pleased for the lad. We all loved Little Tom.
