As i said you are prob a midfielder to prtner wanyama and a saido mane away from smashing the leaugue but every rich ckub has your players and manager in their sights

 

I like him. Progressive coach that has inherited a pretty good squad but made them better. His teams have a nice balance.

Our squad needs a little bit of changing in the summer, but the main thing is to keep our players.
Other sides can look all they like, but most of them don't like dealing with our chairman, for some reason.

I think hes got a lot of credit when in fact hes got the players to do it.

Too much credit

Not critising him and giving credit to players but rather other managers are all just as good.

Eg. Klopp has his team fitter and running further than spurs

Mourinho is a defensive coach who early years resembled pochs desires. Poch has two blocker cms bang in front of back 4 imo and is all about running and position.

Guardiola is another all about positions, pressing, closing and patterns.

The fact is thats lofty company for poch to be mentioned in... the press and sky seem to be creaming themselves over him right now.

But why are they not creaming themselves over conte?? Hes even better

 

No. Happy with the progress, but we need to start winning trophies.
We've still got a vague chance of doing that this season, of course. You'll be happy with top 4, though.
New Arsenal?

 

As i recall your lot in 2007 we down the bottom under a manager meant to take you to the top and that manager ended up at real when you sacked him.

You had to build since then with levy learning quite a lot along the way. You have in other words have had stability and consistency at the top.

Lfc were nearly bankrupt in 2010. Ince then our yank owners have not lived the job so have not learned from their errors like levy has but here we are.. building again.

Spurs certainly need to win things but what? League cup wont cut it.. but will fa cup? Is league all that matters

 

We need to win something. Anything. It's just about getting some silverware in the cabinet.
I don't like a lot of the way that Mourinho does things, but it was a complete banker that he'd pick up the League Cup this season.
He knows that it's the easiest way to get your team used to winning things and that breeds a winning mentality.

 

And hes paying through the nose for it now isnt he?

The europa is what they need to win but injuries might kill them

 

He'll probably grind out a top 4 finish, somehow, or nick the Europa League,as that's what he does.
The injuries will just give him an excuse to spend another ton of money on the squad next season.

Last ever game at WHL and we're unbeaten there this season.
It comes after their second leg against Celta Vigo too, so hopefully they'll be nice and knackered.
Big couple of weeks for them coming up. Massive test for Mourinho.

Given we have had 11 fit players plus a brain dead lb reserve and kids for 3 weeks now... his moaning about injuries when he today had just two kids on bench struck me as a bit weak.

The guy had Mkhitaryan on the bench today with mata and darmian plus valencia..

 

I think he's just deflecting, as he likes to do after any bad result.
The media like to run with whatever crap he throws out, instead of going with the real story.
