Shall I tell you when we know who's finished in the top 4 and who hasn't ... at full time and the end of the last day of the season

 

well, there is always that...

 

Its bad when a commentator or analyst is supposed to offering unbiased opinion on a game.
Alan Smith is one of the worst, hardly ever criticizes Arsenal or Wenger and when he does managed to bring himself to do it he has to balance it with a positive about Arse.
Today he managed to admit that Spurs were way ahead of Arsenal and that Arse were weak defensively, however within a second of do so he claimed that Arsenal were brilliant in possession. This was when they were already 2-0 down and doing **** all.

 

I'm at that point most of the time with Liverpool

 

Great weekend for us really, could only have been better if the Manchester clubs hadn't cheated their way to a point.
Lukaku and Barkley proving to be **** against any good team again. Flat track bullies.

Need to keep winning and hopefully Boro lose their next 3 and are relegated before the last day, don't want to have to play a desperate team in game 38.

 

Arsenal now a very long shot for top 4. They need two of City, LFC and United to fail. We and City are now favourites for 3rd and 4th. Don't really care which order.

Their next match against the mancs could eliminate one of them or both. If we do our job against Watford, a draw would practically eliminate both and also leave us room if we stumble.

 

At least a desperate team will have to play open football to get anything which usually suits our game.

 

I'd take a punt and say Chelsea will finish top four...

Today has knocked the remaining wind out of them.
No form mini-revival etc. 2-3 pts behind the Mancs (even IF they
win their game in hand) , and a 6 pointer against Man Utd.

 

Im just pointing out theyve been built... wisely and well over a period of time longer than poch has been in charge..

The issue for me is if they keep dumping cups then the ambitious will move on.

Imagine if you will..

Utd sell de gea and try to buy lloris
Real fail in sf of cl and lose league to barca.. real sack zidane (madness) and go for poch
Real buy alli
Alderweirlds buy out clause is triggered by juve (guess)

And so on.

This is obviously ridiculously extreme but spurs seem ripe for the plucking when they pay half what their direct rivals do.

It seems to me they are probably only 2 players away from a title winning side and only a couple leaving away from it all coming apart.

Its not like we dont know what thats like.

He doesn't have one, unless the club extends his contract by an extra year, at which time it kicks in.

 

By the next time united play in the league (away to Arsenal) we could be 7 points clear of them (although they'll have 2 in hand).

If things go well, 7 clear of united and 12 clear of Arsenal. They then draw and leave us with a game to lose in final 3.

 

Who has one that a Foreign club can buy them for 25mil?

Nobody in our squad. Levy doesn't do those sort of clauses. Probably because they're rubbish.

We do badly in the cups because Pochettino keeps making poor team selections in them.
He changes things for no apparent reason, rests players and picks the wrong system quite often.
He's done brilliantly at Spurs, but keeps getting it wrong in the cups, for some reason.
