    Watching this, arsenal will need a bit of luck to get anything from utd.

    It is at emirates and arsenal did March spurs for quite a bit but arsenal have given up.

    No. That doesn't mean we're lucky to be above them after the same number of games.
    If anything, today, the luck was on their side. They only drew because the idiot officials bought a couple of outrageous dives.

    Spurs 3rd in cl group... to leverkusen ffs.
    Spurs lost in round of 32 in europa to the mighty gent.

    Spurs lost in efl playing reserves when we played kids in 4th round

    Spurs lost 4-2 and it could have been by 6 in sf of fa cup

    Yeah once everyone gets over the spunk fest over spurs we might actually debate why this coming side has won nothing in 3 years under the wonder manager... and keep throwing cup chances away.

    2nd is great but even lfc got 2nd a time or two. :)

    If today doesn't motivate our players then no other day will. I'm actually looking at winning the next two games and see if United implode.

    Still tight but at the start of the season with Guardiola and Mourinho having spent a shot load. I didn't give us a chance. So I am just glad we are there with a pretty good shout.

    Not true. I said City would draw. Thought united would win but knew they'd drop points against Arsenal and Spurs so wasn't too concerned if they did win today as they had tougher games to drop points in. Mourinho has pretty much given up on top 4 now, saying he'll play reserves at end of season if they're in the EL final. Arsenal losing is big bonus, another defeat or draw and they will pretty much be out of it as well.

    3 wins should be enough for us to get top 4 now. 4 should put us in 3rd unless city go 4 and better our GD.

    I think Arsenal will lose or draw vs Utd and Utd will lose or draw vs Spurs. I expect City to outscore us and finish above us though

    On this basis, if we somehow screw up CL Qualification then I will probably be borderline suicidal

    Maybe it's too early to say that Arsenal are out of the top four. Top two Chelsea and Tottenham.
    3and 4 two from Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United. After next Sunday it will be more clearer

    what you seem to have overlooked is that Spurs haven't been this good for years and, as you say yourself, they are the coming side in the league. No they haven't won anything yet but they have a team that are on the rise, they are getting consistent, and imo in Pochettino they have a manager who will be winning things soon. they are a team to threaten for the league title.

    They would have been serious challengers next season if they weren't losing their stadium, key players, and possibly manager.
