Best Driver: bottas for his start. Quite simply it was pivotal Worst Driver: I rocket palmer would have been better staying home this entire week. Best Rookie/New Driver Best Team: hmmm... toss up here. I'd say Mercedes not ferrari marginally. Suprise Team: force India? Worst Team: Mclaren.. tools Best Overtake: hmmmm that's the problem isn't it. Most Surprising Result: after Saturday the pace of mercedes in the race Least Surprising Result: a Mclaren fails to start. Funniest moment: alonso parks it in pit Lane entry to make a pointrip. I just doubt he needed to leave it right there.. That's all. Sonething tells me he could have parked it elsewhere but got max embarrassment the out of it. Excuse of the week: I didn't bother hang round but in race it was kimi going oh... Least Surprising Result: mclaren blow up Funniest moment: Raikkonen thinking Bottas was behind and Hamilton leading the race....probably as surprised as us. Excuse of the week: what ever Hamilton says. How can he still be smiling and nicey nicey after this weekends performance. He is trying something but it's not working Special Mention: Ocon and perez. I think Smithers' point is that it was a strategy race that went to the very last lap, he wasn't the only one watching the clocks and working out the gaps and gains, I was pretty sure Vettel could catch him by the end. If Massa had been more obliging, or if Kimi hadn't been quite so fast and Vettel had stayed out a lap or 2 longer, we could've seen action for the win on the last lap. I got quite excited until the end of lap 47, when it looked to me like Vettel went too deep and looked to have lost .3 in a corner. I thought he lost his chance there.
It's all bit like waiting for a slice of pie, never quite getting to have a taste becuase it's all gone before it got to you, but then declaring it a great pie. Balls to that!!! I want some pie DAMMIT!!!
Best Driver: Bottas, he was a rocket yesterday and remained cool like the Hakkinen days, nothing else to say. Worst Driver: Grosjean and Palmer together. Best Rookie/New Driver: Ocon future race winner for sure. Best Team: Force India continue their strong start to the season. Suprise Team: Not surprised by any team in particular.
