They've done enough, much like we did under Warnock. Some spectacular games but mostly a great defence saw us through.

Just a mention of Corinthian Casuals who lost the Ryman League South Play-Off Final on penalties yesterday. Nothing amazing in that you'd think other than the team are all true amateurs in a professional league, they receive no match fees or expenses in a league where their competitors have wage bills of up to £1,000 a week.

The play-offs are single matches with the higher placed team having home advantage, Casuals played away beating Greenwich with ten men coming from 3-2 down to win 4-3 in the semi-final. In the final they were at Dorking who finished with 105 points and missed promotion on goal difference, that match finished 0-0 after extra time and Dorking won 5-4 on penalties.

I just wish we could find some of the spirit and desire these players show for nothing other than personal pride and ambition rather than some of the gutless performances the pampered pros put in...

And playing harrow borough next year, relegated after 38 years in premier division, many of those clubs have no money and only just about survive...the supporters keep them going out of their own pockets

I must admit I get a lot more enjoyment watching football at that level than going to Loftus Road these days. I've been to a few different gounds in the past few years and mostly within 10 miles of where I live and it's just a far more relaxed experience and you can get a pie and a pint whilst some of the banter is brilliant. Many of the grounds are in beautiful areas as well, Dorking yesterday was in the shadow of Box Hill, grounds don't come much better...

I can see what you mean, spent all my childhood being taken to those grounds, one coach for players and supporters, changing ends when your team does and meet players in the bar after the match, can see the appeal. A lot of the lads had failed at big clubs but just loved playing

This video of yesterday's game is a great showcase for the quirkiness and charm of non-league football, despite the result it was a really enjoyable day out...

Really enjoyed watching that, good honest hard fought football (unlike cheating Rashford winning that penalty against Swansea). Too bad the end result for the Casuals - biscuits! Like us, there's always next season.

When I was over for our Charlton match in Nov 2013 I spent the Friday beforehand visiting an old school chum in the Dorking area - after a pub lunch we hiked Box Hill then got a leg of lamb for dinner from the local butcher.

It looks like Bolton will be visiting us next season, 3-0 up against Peterborough along with Sheffield United who have romped the title already...

Nothing to do with Tarrabt's 20 goals and 20 assists eh?

Jammy bastards make it 2-0 with a goal that Cahill didn't know too much about. When your luck's in...

Everton with a real "already on the beach" performance, just when Spurs wanted them to be like they have previously at home this season.

Not as much, no. They're the moments we remember. What really won us the league was grinding out wins when we deserved draws or worse like Leicester at home and Barnsley away towards the end.

Ishmael Miller got that goal against Leicester. Seems like yesterday! It was the first time I'd taken my son to a match. He was 4 and spent the game playing on some electronic device. He Freaked out completely when that goal went in and everyone started shouting. Thought the sky had fallen in or something. It was a good 5 minutes till he realised we were happy

Spurs well on top now, Kane hung his leg out for the penalty but the refs always seem to fall for it...
