Dear Premier League fixture schedulers, You are all arseholes and need to consider your future in the game. Love from all at Match of the Day.
No early game and none of the top 7 are playing. Some vague interest at the bottom of the table, I guess. Boo!
Tony Adams has relegated Granada, surprising nobody. The goals that sent them down were scored by ex-Southampton failure Juanmi and ex-Goon, Carlos Vela.
Hull last week, this week it's Birmingham's turn to win with 10 men. Massive result, well done 'Arry. Crazy game at Elland Road too with Leeds coming back from 3-0 down but the point means they can't get to the playoffs. Only themselves to blame really after losing to Burton and Wolves.
Down to ten men against the side starting the day in third, staring relegation in the face and they win 2-0. Unbelievable. Totally dominated in terms of possession, but they limited Huddersfield to only three shots on target. The player that won the penalty for their second goal was Jacques Maghoma, one of our former academy players. Redknapp was our manager when he was released from Spurs in 2009. Funny how these things work out. Big game for them on the final day, now. Win and they're safe. Draw or lose and it would take both Forest and Blackburn winning to send them down. We all know how football loves a story though, don't we?
Also missed a penalty at 0-0. I'd rather not see Forest go down. I like Warburton and he could do good things for some of our young talents in that Division.
Watching Palace v Burnley to try to assess Zaha. It's impossible given that they are so poor everywhere else on the pitch. So far, it's a no from me. He can run with the ball but there's no great reading of the game, passing, crossing or shooting. A touch too much 'Sterling' for £40m of our money.
Man, when Palace have a referee who isn't buying all the diving and rolling around, they're complete ****. Losing at home to Burnley is as bad as it gets and it's been comfortable for them.
It's not good for the Premier League's image when you say half of this afternoon's goals were scored by Burnley - so expect to see them docked points for bringing advertising into disrepute...
Orient v Colchester was held up for over 2 hours due to crowd invasion and restarted at 6:40 behind closed doors. I really do feel for the fans of Orient.
