Shame we didn't want to win it in the last 10 minutes. I guess a point gives us an extra lifeline, beat Sunderland and take another off Palace or Spurs and it might just be enough.

The only downside to that is that young Bradley lad being upset, bless him.

We got 4 points off Southampton then. From what I remember we played poor in the first game (?) and in this one we were ok, but we could have got all 3 if we'd gone for it more in the second half. Niasse has just been off form recently but we didn't try another option till right at the end.

N'diaye puts the effort in but can be a liability too. He raised his hands in a scuffle with a player in the first half, and wasn't he the one who gave the penalty away?

Flick on from Dawson that Niasse couldn't quite bundle home. Barely a half chance.

Bloody brilliant effort by all, what a save, Jac is God. How stressful was that, and that's from just listening from the couch - standing of course! Fantastic support at the game, we heard you loud n proud, safe journey back to all.

Elmo was class today, best performance in a long time. Solid in defence and didn't just cross it from any angle when going forward.

We played some nice stuff. Grosicki hit the post from a free kick. None of our 300 crosses beat the first man (actually about 100 cleared everyone). Jak saved a Tadic pen at the death after Ndiaye manhandled Yoshida in the box.

It wasn't a clear chance for Niasse. Dawson flick on from a corner and the ball bobbled up before it was hacked away. Not really cleared off the line either. The ball wasn't goal bound.

Think it's wrong to say we didn't try to win it enough in the last 10. Southampton just came on strong and we were in great danger of conceding. Great battling point.
