If we where at home is say 3 points defo. But the fact that we've only taken 2 points from the last 48 away ( 0.12 per game) makes me wonder at people's optimism. I'd be extremely happy with 1 point and ecstatic with 3. 2 nil Saints I'm affraid. Apologies for the lack of confidence.
With our consistent 'no win in May' PL record, a victory today is crucial. It's about time we beat Southampton away in the PL.
I have a good feeling about today but a lot of it depends on how Marco sets us up. I think he got it badly wrong against Stoke, with Harry at right back. Does he go for it with two up front, or play for the point? Marco's not really a park the bus type manager, but he's got to change something to alter our away record. It'll be intriguing to see what approach we take.

My oldest was off to this one. Left Newcastle in good time. Stuck at Newark north gate for 2 hours with signaling problems. Now will be lucky to get their by half time. Needless to say she's more than a little irritated
