Mourinho throws half his team under the bus again “If I was a United defender I would be very upset with the attacking players because they have to kill the game and they didn’t" “Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Anthony I think they were very similar [not doing enough]”
the only difference to a few weeks ago is that ibrahimovic now makes the list of **** players utd can't depend on it seems. I find this little rant very funny cos mourinho has always been a defensive coach. so for him not to be slaughtering his **** midifeld and defence is amusing.
He is at United and attacking football that puts trophies in the cabinet is what is expected. Plus it ensures that he gets the money they need to get 'his' players in. He is in real danger of being a two cup flop
The worst part is he's still too scared to criticize Pogba Rashford, Lingard, Ibrahimovic, and Martial were "sloppy" But Pogba missing from point blank just before they conceded and this isn't "sloppy"
I wish soneone had written a nymber beside each melt so we could know if he is passed 10 meltdowns so far.
Man Utd have failed to win 15 league games this season so that's roughly his number of #meltdowns He celebrated the draw at Anfield like winning the CL, but then he also has his cup #meltdowns so it's a reasonable approximation
Ok. Pity you didnt graph the intervals. I wouyld have liked to have known if it was him being on his period or what.
Mourinho in #meltdown over losing Fellaini Apparently is was "a bit of a red card" But also not a red card because Aguero didn't have a broken nose, which is apparently the rule now? And he worked all this out despite not even seeing the incident (my job FFS)
I'm not trying to be pedantic but I'm sure a bit of a red card is still a red card #shutthefuckupJose
Would love Koeman to be having a meltdown like Jose. Trophy in the bag, still in Europe and on for top four.
You know your team is **** when you have to resort to bigging up other teams achievements as your team has done nothing all season.
Or conversely, you know your own team is a bit **** when you start taking a pop at a club that's achieved more than you this season, or maybe that's just bitterness
So far. But I'd argue that if we finish in the top 4 and they get knocked out of Europe then our season will have been more successful. Tbh there's not much point talking about who's achieved more in the season when the season isn't even over.
Koeman's had plenty of #meltdowns of his own Massive investment promised... no one wants to come Going to Wembley tweet... instantly knocked out Top 4 ambition... never even part of the conversation But at least we can finish above Arsenal and Man Utd... oops no they stopped collapsing
With the kind of money they've spent, to finish 5th (or even 6th) would be pretty ****ing embarrassing to be honest. In no way can a team with the investment of Man Utd claim to have a good season finishing outside the top 4 even if they manage to bag two second rate trophies.
Spending money isn't a guarantee of getting a team together. It needs a manager who can build a team that can deliver what the owners and fans want.
