Won't be an easy game today by any stretch, this stage of the season always difficult against teams fighting for their lives. Still fancy us though... their away form is poor and they concede a lot.
Gets worse....Merson gone for a Saints 3-1 victory. This is a game Hull might fancy to end that miserable away record. They might be thinking, 'This can be the one', especially when you consider Swansea are at Manchester United. It's an opportunity. But Southampton are a better team than many give them credit for this season. They are a decent side and should have too much for the Tigers. PAUL PREDICTS: 3-1 (Sky Bet odds 12/1)
Happy Birthday TLL! 3-1 Saints for me too. Just call me Merson (please don't). I do wish it wasn't between Hull and Swans though. I really like Swans as a club, and I really like Silva as a manager.
One of the rare times where I am not massively bothered about the result, I want Hull to stay up so I can see what Silva does with a full summer and season in charge. Therefore the score will be 1-1.
My money is on sign loads of Jorge Mendes players. He's done well and will stay up but sorry, he's not for me.
Mendes too involved with Wolves allegedly, I'd imagine he would want to send his better players there (within reason) to get them back to the Prem. If Ronaldo rocks up at the KC next year then I take it all back.
It's an old name and I've become more pessimistic over time. If I was confident that we could keep a clean sheet, I would have us down for a win.
Kick-off at 3pm on a Saturday?! What is this sorcery. On the upside, I should be able to watch the game - albeit on a stream.
Sounds about right. And a timely reminder that last tuesday was his first start - against the league leaders, @ their ground.
Happy Birthday mate . No disrespect to Hull, but if we can't beat that lot at home for you today, then you must have angered the gods of football. In other words, your fault if we lose. No pressure.
Considering he's the worst goalkeeper of all time, I was a bit amazed that behind Lloris, Courtois and De Gea, Fraser has kept the most clean sheets in the league this season.
Presumably in the same way that Claude Puel got us to a cup final, despite fixture congestion caused by EL participation, in his first season as a completely clueless manager.
