A big aircraft hanger like place which really put the pressure on the performer to create an atmosphere. James did it with ease, as did one other on this list.
Saw him at Wembley Arena. Disappointing. Durham Students Union 1979. Aggressive. Hong Kong, some very crowded club, 1984. Superb Next guess has a 25% chance of getting it right......
Second band at the Milanese barn. we have a winner! pipped to it by Ninesy I'm afraid. I deeply regret never having seen them live.
I've gone for an eclectic mix ... UB40 INXS Alexander O'Neal The Cult Duran Duran Sophie B Hawkins A-ha U2 Earth Wind & Fire Barry White
I saw them at Brixton Academy in 1993 with Michael Hutchence. It was on Thursday 29th of July and was the last night I saw my then to be wife before we got married on the Saturday. As tradition dictates we didn't see each other on the Friday. I'm sorry to say that I've seen them three times Soops. There's something about the opening to The Sun Always Shines on TV that gets me. I saw them play at The Royal Albert Hall with a full orchestra, I know it's a bit poppy but they were very good. I've seen them about five times. Yes I know it's rather sad Hoop-Leif.
