Side note: does anyone recall a couple of decades back when the trans community were pushing for the third pronoun "ze" and "hir". I'm glad that didn't stick... That was really horrendous language abuse. "Ze went down the stairs and grabbed hir coat." Instead of "He/She went down the stairs and grabbed his/her coat." Makes my skin crawl at that abuse of language. I'd much rather use the pronouns that the individual is transforming into.
