doubt shell be winning the Oaks on that performance but nice price today at least, thought she was going to win easily 2 out

Turned into a messy finish anyway they split into more or less 3 groups, well the 2nd raced far side but other than that they were spread well out. She may have gotten a bit lonely there in front and centre.

Maybe, he wasnt hard on her, but to me a proper Oaks filly would have drew away from them there hands and heels, physically she hasnt really done much since last season.

Not great for my main fancy in the race Crimson Rock who beat her first time out but she is a huge filly and hopefully she will have improved a lot. Half sister to Peeping Fawn and Thewayyouare.

Horseplay is the other one I like for it.

Hello, crew.

I see that Mr Henderson still hasn’t flogged Whatswrongwithyou yet. Is out at Perth again tomorrow in his own ‘Seven Barrows’ colours. You’d think a private sale to one of his existing owners must be around the corner soon (and a nice profit cashed as well).

There were a few wise old sages from the county talking Atty Persse up for the Derby, over the Winter, but it must be a slight concern for them that he debuts for the term, of the morrow, over a mile, at Sandown Park, rather than a more stamina sapping trip.

The one to be on tomorrow though for me is NESHMEYA (4.35 Sandown Park). She ran with great credit in 2 well above average maidens last term and with another winter on her back can be expected to have matured enough to break her maiden at the third time of asking. She’s a lovely prospect and you would expect the plan, at this stage, would be to win her maiden and then head for an Oaks Trial. Neshmeya is wonderfully bred being a half-sister to a Listed winner and her dam was a Group winner who also finished 3rd in The Oaks. For that latter contest incidentaly, Neshmeya is, at the time of writing, a 50/1 shot.

Good luck all.

More regular readers set to queue up at the Chippenham Soup Kitchen.
Could all those still backing/tipping winners please give generously for these poor disadvantaged folk.

May not be a bad maiden that Crimson Rock one. Elas Ruby won next time out as well.

I dont think it was anything special form wise, Elas Ruby had run three times in decent maidens and id hope that she wouldnt get near the 2 she split this year.

Shutter Speed is high up on my list as well but I didnt fancy her as an oaks filly and shes now second fav, that was a nice maiden she won. God Given obviously interesting being a half sister to Postponed but the other one I took from the race was the Haggas filly Coconut Creme. Shes a half sister to Sultanina and I thought it was a really nice debut on ground that was probably softer than she wants. Shes entered at Beverley on Monday.

Leon Blanche thinks Labaik will start today ??? Is he a psychic or what...it's only a guessing game if he leaps off or not.

It took a fair while for some of those jockeys to cop that vvm wasgoing nowhere. Can't fault the winner though.

Have to fell sorry for Tent.

I thought Willie had only stuck him in the line up to help Elliott's nutcase to decide not to bother.
