No need to save it mate, I agree with it in full. The thing is, I don't think you will win all your remaining games either.

 

So given you don't think you'll win all yours, that means it's still in our own hands as if you don't then all we have do to is match all your other results. You have to match our results in the 5 games, plus win the extra.

Fair enough, I suppose - but wouldn't you like to see your team at least try to win these sorts of games rather than just hope to get a breakaway?

The whole front 3 were poor, but that's just because of the set up. Came to settle for a 0-0 or at least 0-0 and nick a goal from set piece. They had no link from the midfield and no possession. Tactics made them almost redundant to a point.

 

Incredible how a lot of nonsense is being written here :

First, this draw is NOT the best result for us. That would have been a City Win and almost guaranteed us 4th place. That would have eliminated United as a threat.

2, please can we all forget 3rd place as City are overwhelming favourites to get that.

3. The Watford match was always the most important match this week not this one. Without a win next Monday, we become the least favourite to get 4th never mind 3rd.

4. We realistically have to win every match left.

5. Don't count on Mourinho to lose against Spurs. He will stop at nothing to get a result. And do not expect Wenger to beat him either.

6. Take Mourinho's assertion that the league is not a priority with a pinch of salt.

So the mancs have as much chance as LFC in getting top 4 even though they've got a tougher run in.

Not really, you are still dependant on us dropping points even if you win all your remaining games. Therefore your fate is in our (and City's) hands.

 

United have drawn 0-0 away from home to Chelsea, Spurs & Liverpol under Mourinho this season. If he managed it at Spurs & Arsenal in 2 weeks time, will complete the set. Probably had an average possession of about 35% and 4 shots in total i'd imagine.

United had to win tonight to stand a chance at 4th, they've now just blown it unless both Arsenal and ourselves blow it even more and only win 1 or 2 of remaining games.

 

Can't argue with any of that, we played for the minimum to keep us in the race and got it. Result in that case.
