Not much on today. Hence the lack of interest. Today's racing comes from:

    Pontefract
    Southwell
    Dundalk (A.W)
    Tramore

For Nass's main selection see here

My local track ponty has some ok racing today with good representation with jockey's and trainers throughout the country.

My fancies for the first two fancies are:

Free Zone e/w - Was given too much to do last time in a race unsuitable the Newcastle 2nd to Kool Henry is pretty strong for this race with first time visor for the shrewd Brian Smart worth a go at 10/1

In the 2:30 I'll swerve the favourite Rain Mac for Hong Kong Island who has had 3 outings at the specialist track won twice and came 2nd by a neck over c/d to berling here a little over a week to go 3lb lower here due to Dale Swift taking claiming 3.. worth a decent bet e/w at bp 13/2 with PP

I like good old Trip The Light in the 2.30 and I think he will run a big race at a backable price. Had a little win bet on him at 7/1.

rounders, I agree in regards Ray Wilkins but I don't think Alan Hansen is that bad.

Amazing to Liverpool throw away the points yesterday, they looked in control for the first half but they didn't create much in the second half and paid for it.

As for Joey Barton, I won't repeat what I stated when I saw the 'slap'

barton is a prat isn't he.

my picks for relegation are QPR, Norwich and Newcastle. the geordies have lost the heart of their side and I can see them going on a long losing run if they lose Barton in a transfer or his inevitable bans

    Nice one Cats.

Re Ray Wilkins, his manu love in is nauseating in the extreme...he gushed about kids staying up late to watch a P Scholes masterclass in some Euro match last year and laughed at "typical Scholesy" when he upended some dago, then had the audacity to sanction the "cynical" continental game when swarthy person repaid the compliment...<rofl>.

Defo a candidate for that room of yours Nass!

Does anyone have any opinions on Buthelezi's run yesterday? I didn't actually think it was too bad given that he got himslef into all sorts of trouble (probably ended up running half a fulrlong more than he needed FFS!) and still looked like he had something left. If he runs in the St leger I thnk he might do well. What do others reckon?

Dexter - to be fair he's like that with all the Eglish clubs in Europe. When Spurs were getting buried in Madrid he kept blaming the referee. It's one thing I really hate about English football commentators to be honest. I wouldnlt mind buut fans are different - I'm sure i'm not the only one who has a list iof at least 4 teams i like to see ritually humilaited on their travels......

I am a Manchester United fan Dexter. even someone as unbiased as me can see Torres and Lampard threw themselves to the floor in desperate bids to win unwarranted penalties against this quite tenacious Stoke side.
