I remember an amazing one against Sunderland in 2008 but I can't remember once since. Someone else should take them but i can't think who.
To be honest I doubt we do much training on set pieces where players are encouraged to cross the ball if any, doesn't seem to fit in with Wenger's philosophy. We have no set piece specialists which doesn't help either.
We should start a new arsenal style of freekick, 1 person in the box, then get every player run in from different angles, RVP fakes a shot and lays it off to fabregas, who lays it off to wilshere, lays it off to the onrunning gervinho, lays it back to RVP and GOOOOAAAAALLLL
If RvP is laying the ball off to Fabregas he's gunna have to kick it pretty ****ing far. I know he has a poweful left foot but getting the ball to reach Spain may be just out of his reach.
I reckon we need to start playing more mind games. Say if we're defending a free kick we should get our wall doing YMCA until the kick is taken and, when we're attacking, we should make our players do the Jonny Wilkinson handclasp.
But that would throw the opposition off!, van persie steps up for the freekick, pulls out a compass and a map, turns towards the crowd and smashes the ball out of the stadium, half hour later it returns with a beautifully layed off ball to Theo!
and the keeper doing 360 jumps and backflips, also during penalties! or a trick i like, as there lining up the penalty just repeatedly shout "shoot left, your going left, left, left, shoot left, your goin left, i'll jump right if you shoot left, left, left, your goin left, left, left"
