FFS. You go out for the morning and look what happens!!! I have a very bad feeling about this. Swindon are the precedent. They weren't just denied promotion - they were relegated. If we get the same then forget the Championship, we'll be in League one next year. Obviously I am hoping it is an individual thing, but if the club is implicated then the club deserves all it gets (the club not the supporters). Whatever club it is then it's the supporters who get ****ed far more than the fat cats who own them. No matter how many clubs are involved then they should throw the book at all of them. Money has ****ed football, and if this sends a message that cleans it up a little bit then so be it. Just a shame, but not that surprising, that the twats who run our club are involved. It wouldn't be the first time a League has done mass demotions. Remember Italy? Didn't one club get demoted from their top tier to the fourth tier - though that was about match-fixing. Then again, cheating is cheating, and gaining an unfair financial advantage is cheating. God I hate what these bastards do to us over and over again
I do think people are going a bit over the top on this, obviously there is a distinct lack of information at the moment and all this talk about pts deductions, transfer bans and alike are all very premature.
Mate, do you actually follow Newcastle? We are the living embodiment of Murphy's Law. If it can go wrong, it does.
The Riviere transfer alone is justification to lock Penfold and Carr up and throw away the key. The pair of these charlatans can do one as far as I'm concerned for pure footballing reasons. Hope we never see them at our club again. I expect Mike to be swift and brutal in his actions here now.
This is Newcastle. Expect the worst and you'll still end up ****ing disappointed that the worst was worse then you thought!!
We only got promoted this year because ACS used the law to our advantage by ensuring he'd lose a shedload of money if we went up.
I bet Charnley is squealing like a stuck pig in his cell. Nice bit of fresh tender rim for the boys to partake of...
I want to make the observation that even if the worst of the worst has happened, embezzlement, tax avoidance, fraud, everything!! Its not been to our advantage! Rivierre, Cabella, Thauvin, relegation, therefore I propose that any forthcoming sanctions be avoided on the basis we have already suffered enough!
Good point. True karma would involve the 'punishment' of being awarded the Champions League trophy for the next 10 years.
