Ashley and Charnley should be made to do a Game of Thrones style 'shame' walk through the city (not necessarily naked though) so we can all get to throw sh1t all over them and give them a good kicking. Hopefully HMRC and the FA will agree with this level of punishment sufficing.
This is only a guess and my opinion but Carr and Charnley took payments from Marseille in relation to the the transfers of Thauvin and Cabella. It's the only credible explanation, people are also blaming Mike, but there is no chance he would be involved (even if he was) he has people to take the fall for him everywhere and because of this I think Newcastle as a team will be okay, some individuals will take the hit within the club, but they will be replaced
Newcastle United..... the gift that just keeps on giving.. Thanks for ruining my summer Charnley, you fat fooking cnut
That's the implied issue - this is to do with Marseille, hence Newcastle (Cabella/Thauvin) and West Ham (Payet/Amalfitano) immediately involved. You'd then need to look at whether Swansea (Ayew), Spurs (Djedje), Chelsea (Batshuayi) and Watford (Djedje) get implicated. Palace might be ok as Mandanda was free. I just hope it's very specifically centred around Charnley - that fcker as much as anyone is responsible for most of our ills, particularly relegation.
No suggestions that Ashley is involved at this time, Charnley was responsible for daily operations and transfers, has to be a complete dick to think he would get away with this sort of **** if there is wrong doing, FA can only get involved I think once there has been convictions at which point they can decide sanctions either against individuals or clubs.
Charnley and Co won't be pleading guilty. The club isn't likely to plead guilty. A trial won't happen for at least a year, probably 3. Serious stuff, but unlikely to result in a punishment this season.
I couldn't give a fck about Charnley, gets what's coming - however I can very realistically see an immediate ban on incoming transfers, and subsequent loss of our manager.
But having this hanging over them would have serious implications on their dealings. If I was a town fan I would want it sorted out asap. For example, how are you going to spend big when the possibility of a compulsory relegation is hanging over you?
I do get that. But are you honestly telling me that Ashley didn’t know? More the point that it wasn't under his instructions. Yes Charnley is scum and will/should take the fall, but he is Mike's puppet. Mike just knows how to put people between himself and the law as fall guys.
I think Rafa will resign quite quickly and UEFA will impose a transfer ban. Got to be honest, I'm through with football if this all comes to a head. Can't go through yet more pain at the hands of these ****s.
Amazing timing though isn't it? Just days after promotion is confirmed. Its almost like the HMRC have timed for some good PR and points scoring exercise... Draw it out over a long period, and we will worry about it down the line. If we are deducted points or relegated at some point then so be it, its hardly the end of the world. The club will be punished though if there is any guilt. Just the way it goes.
Well l guess l will cling to the old innocent until proved guilty hope. We don't know what's going on and hopefully it comes to nothing. Shame is we don't need this rubbish right now, casting shadows over what ought to be a very positive time. Like others have said, only at NUFC eh. You just couldn't make it up, could you.
Perhaps this has been orchestrated by Mike himself. "Look lads and lasses, I can't spend the big money required, we have a possible relegation hanging over us."
I've read on twitter from a SSN correspondent that the arrest relates to £5m worth of income tax and national insurance fraud. If this is correct, then it appears that Charley and maybe other directors have been making money personally via transfers and avoiding tax. Charnely as most supporters are aware is on a relatively low wage in comparison to other directors at other clubs. I am hoping it is money they have been making for personal benefit and not for the benefit of the club.
Nah **** that, we might aswell enjoy what we have now and deal with the other ****e when and if we have to.
suspicions were raised when Newcastle spent £6m on an unknown waiter from Monaco called Emmanuel Riveirre
This could turn out to be brilliant. If its a personal matter and he has to resign as a result, this could be the best promotion ever.
