Let's stay Dutch and use the money to nab Wesley Hoedt. Or use the Berty money to do that and keep VVD happy by going Dutch in defence.

People are starting to worry prematurely. CB's are the commodity this summer, so pants are getting wet. Me, I'm fairly relaxed at the moment, but my time will come, probably as the season ends & the long football wilderness sets in with a sprinkle of speculation. What makes this one seem unfair is we haven't been able to play him, how can he possible be sold when we haven't been able to enjoy him. No deal.
That's my logic...we missed half a season of having him play, so we mustn't sell him because that wouldn't be fair!!!!
Only a sprinkle? That would certainly be a step up from the usual apocalyptic snowstorm that engulfs our players every summer.
I used to love the summer. Saints went nearly 3 months unbeaten, & I barely gave football a thought unless the WC or Euros were on.
Surely it depends on who your guy is? There used to be some people who had credible info but the people they got it from have since left the club.
Why are people talking as if there is actually any evidence that Bertrand is anything but happy? Kind of annoying. The way I see it is as follows (contracts): 5 years - They've only just signed it 4 years - Going no where 3 years - If the offer is ridiculous and they want out we will sell 2 - We will most likely sell but only at market value 1 - Cheerio Let us please adhere to this guide for the summer and only worry when necessary.
