Where was your fans against Fulham? Left after when the third went in. Last night atmosphere was shocking and you can't deny that.
No you really don't. Your atmosphere is ****e. Particularly once everyone leaves. Which can be anytime between 35min-85min. Our atmosphere was disappointing last night, the fans were very nervous. Our poor home form has made us wary of getting carried away. We need to get back to just blind noisy support regardless what is happening. Always served us best. I also agree about Sigurdsson, we have no chance. It would seem a given that one of the top 10 will offer him a route out of Swansea. Thee will be some foreign clubs too if they can afford the 30m fee. I see him at Everton.
Careful with Baz lads... the dopey knacker offers his own fans out for a fight in Hastings Hill #hardman #armslike.....
I like Anita, but he didn't cover himself in glory for their goal either, Got caught sleeping quite a few times last night. Not one of his best games defensively at all.
He looked really slow last night. Ideal world we need GK, RB, LB, CB, DM, CM, LW, No10, ST hahahaha just the 9 of a starting 11. Reality is full backs will be a later part of the jigsaw I'd imagine. Along with CM and GK.
I think we may need a new RB over a LB if we had to pick one as neither Anita or Yedlin can defend very well. While Dummett isn't good going forward he can at least do his primary job of defending reasonably well. Anita just seems to let attackers skip past him and cut inside when the opposition has the ball in the last third.
Re Anita - Me and my brother where shocked at how bad position wise he was mainly in the first half. He got ripped to shreds by the left winger.
Agree with this. Dummett is looking more and more solid defensively. Nobody came close to causing us serious trouble down his side last night. Despite the flack he gets he is also quick too when the attacker has a head start on him. We all know his limitations going forward, but I don't think they are as bad as we make out. A lot has had to do with who he has been working with going forward.
I think its cos his natural position is further forward than full back. He gets drawn away from thinking about his defensive duties too easily. We won though so I'm not going to be too hard on him. He's never been one of the players to give up like so many over recent seasons.
I can see us playing a 3-5-2 formation next season. Proper full backs don't seem to be the flavour of the month atm, where as wingbacks are, which Yedlin can provide cover for Ricthie. My main priorities would be a CB, DM/CM, LWB and a striker. 4 good solid players would really help things. As for keepers I think we should be ok with Elliot, Darlow and well.... Krul if he comes back?
In the big games when we needed to win to stay up our atmosphere was class. You had a big game last night and it was flat as my lassies tits. There was nothing to be nervous about last night. 7 points clear, preston had half a team out. Just a excuse because the atmosphere was ****.
Tell me chip shop. How did you end up supporting Newcastle when your dad and brother are Sunderland fans.
You've had big games for the last few months. Your fans kept talking about how you had x number of cup finals. You're lucky if you've had fans past 60mins nevermind an atmosphere you ass clown
