It's nothing like COD! The campaign is split into small war stories and is excellent. Short but excellent. Multiplayer is the best out there.
Anyone watch Little Boy Blue last night. Bloody awful what that family went through, and then to see the scum families of those responsible backing their "little darlings" which they have probably done all through their lives. Ranting at teachers who try and discipline them, standing up for them even though they know their kids are in the wrong, encouraging them to bully other kids to prove they are better. Basically never putting any idea of what is right and what is wrong in their kids heads, hardly surprising they then turn out to be a stain on their community, but the families are usually the ones who make ever body elses life hell in those communities. The only one who seems to realise the seriousness of what he is involved in is the kid who was told to look after the gun and it has suddenly dawned on him that playing at "gangsters" has serious consequences. If you did not watch it you should, but it is very hard going in parts, especially if you have kids of your own.
It's very good, which I was surprised by given it's ITV but I guess they get some of their stuff from independent production companies, plus it's got Stephen Graham in it who is always watchable. ****ing awful events though
Hacksaw Ridge last night. 7/10 A bit too Hollywood on the action scenes, didn't feel as real as Saving Private Ryan etc. Good story based on real events.
The Get Down is also back on Netflix but it's not quite what it was, it seems rushed and erratic and there are cartoons to clearly fill in scenes where the series has run badly over budget. Still worth a watch with part one being a 9/10 but part two so far a 7.
