This is what happens when you have kids on message boards, or at least people with the intellectual capacity of a ****ing spoon.

Too long but I live in hope. Brown was outstanding yesterday so can hopefully keep him out.

Never take a 0-0 against them. A win is all i'm interested in.

Hope Bruce learns and keeps the inexperienced lads out of the derby; Colback and Elmo. He has to play the likes of Gardner and Vaughan in their place.

Hmmm, Colback was excellent yesterday and kept a very level head while getting booted all over, also local lad so knows the score. Gardner can very easily flare up and get the red mist ala Cattermole, think having them both in centre mid in a game like this could be trouble. Lets back Colbacks ability and not worry about experience.
Agree with Vaughan for Elmo, he has the ability to put him foot on it and rarely gives the ball away.

Thought Colback had a good game as well and don't think he'll buckle like Jordan did last year when we played them, maybe Elmo needs a run to sort his game out not sure we have that luxury mind. If we put the second half team out from yesterday personnel and mentally wise then we should be fine.

Based on what I saw yesterday, I think the best we can hope for is a draw. Yes, we defended very very well, and Colo and Tayls were tremendous, but attacking wise we were useless. I know it was Arsenal and we were never likely to have much possession blah blah blah but they were effectively playing their second string midfield, and we never even got close to them. Was I the only one disappointed in Cabaye? He ran around like a headless chicken for the most part, diving into tackles, and I lost count of the amount of times Ramsey simply sidestepped him and laid a pass off. If he does that in the derby he's going to be massacred, simple as.

If Obertan starts I'll be a lot more optimistic, he was the only one who looked like he could make something happen yesterday, and **** me the boy is quick! However, Pardew has his favourites, and I can't help but think that Shola is going to be a lone striker, with a packed midfield. If this is the case, I can see nothing but a Sunderland win. Never have I been so pessimistic heading into derby day.

Derbys ar so odd though aren't they. In all honesty did anyone think newcastle would have beat us by 4 goals last halloween? I'm reserving judgement. I know the result I want but I'm keeping my gob shut about it till after.

I will stick my neck out and say I can't see us rolling over this time though.

So I'm not really keeping my gob shut. :)

I just want us not to freeze as last year, we never really played until the last 15 mins at our place. Iamadonkey has hex on us and tends to score, but if Gyan and Sess can play a little better than yesterday we could get 2/3 goals and that should be enough to win.

You really are a king amongst mongs aren't you.
The majority of the Mags have taken the thread for what it is, but you have to lower it and bring your low IQ rational to it.
But then again nice to see you living up to my signature expectations.

    Answer the question *****!
