Yep. We spoke about his before. My brother has his PPL and is an air traffic controller, so I've been around aviation for a long time and have flown with him on many occasions. I've had a few lessons too, but it's free when I fly wth my brother. We hire a Cessna every few months and go off for a jolly

I guess some peoples lives are so boring they have to big it up but when people do that consistantly like Tyler you can smell the bullshit but it only hurts the bullshitter when he gets called out.
To be honest I have had the odd flying lesson, didn't want to bring it up amongst the ongoing scandal about helicopters, got a few pics...expensive hobby.
Why's everyone going on about flying? It's ****ing easy. Wash down some vallies with a few bevvies on a nice Summers day and you're heads in the clouds all day long
Yep expensive stuff. It's not so much the lessons, but all the books you have to buy and the exams you have to sit. Navigation, Meteorology etc. My brother learned to fly with the RAF school at St Athan in South Wales as they get a lot their staff through civilian flying to give them the chance for a PPL. He did it for free as he works quite closely with RAF St Athan as they share airpace with Cardiff Airport, where he works as an Air Traffic Controller.
