No idea mate ... I doubt it had anything to do with the fact that it was played on a Sunday afternoon and that most of our fans being employed had to work the next day ... or that it came a few days after 7,000 of them were having an expensive mini-break in Madrid (decisions, decisions, a few nights in Madrid or a Sunday afternoon up at Stanley Park ) or even the fact that we were likely to play a reserve side (think we made 5 changes) because we had a UCL quarter final to play the following Wednesday evening ... Nah ...suspect they just couldn't be arsed .... not when they could sit on their arses in their armchairs and stream it like many of the proper fans on here ... rather than actually going to games ... bunch of tossers eh?

If you are going to drop me in the proverbial at least quote me accurately. It was City who had about 2500/3000 tickets left on the friday night, not Arsenal. I would not imagine Arsenal would have any difficulty selling their allocation for a match on their doorstep, especially as they adore their manager so much!
