There was a time limit, you said you would post the picture of your medal along with 'irrefutable proof' that it's yours by the weekend. You welched it, because you're a bullshitter
There are a lot of "ifs" in your post, Skiddy. Will Spurs disgrace England in the CL? Will Arsenal make it to the Europey League? If they do, will they get anywhere near winning it? In short, your post is somewhat premature, Skiddy.
'If' you weren't such a gobshite and bullshitter, people might take you seriously. As it is, I'm afraid nothing you say has any credence.
Yes, indeed, G4E... "if." I can see why winning the FA Cup could be considered some degree of consolation for Arsenal failing to win its annual "Top 4 Again" trophy. I'm not saying that Arsenal winning the FA Cup wouldn't be an admirable achievement, but to try to suggest (as you have) that winning it at the cost of losing out on a top 4 spot to your North London rivals would be something to crow about is utterly ridiculous, if not idiotic.
Quentin, Quentin, Quentin .... you are funny surely you are the only poster on here that could possibly conclude that waking up the next day after winning the FA cup final could possibly leave you with feelings of disappointment and a "bad smell" ... don't suppose that has anything to do with the particular club you are commenting on? ... Of coure I may have totally misjudged things, but there seemed to be 40,000 plus Arsenal fans in Wembley at the final whistle yesterday seemingly on quite a high about the prospect of that same FA Cup final win? ... in rather marked contrast to the expressions of the fans of their near neighbours, many of whom were half-way up Wembley way before the final whistle on Saturday ... I suspect that given the choice, Spurs fans would have much preferred to be contemplating the bad smell of FA Cup success in May... wouldn't you?
Well in the universal constant nothing is certain but....Spurs disgraced England twice this year so what's to say they won't again? Arsenal are now playing better than before so a Europa place looks certain. Are they capable of winning it...yes they have 20 years of euro experience, so much more than their shadow. As for premature we are talking just six games maybe the premature bit is coming from you Gimpy.
I know, Bambi. That's one of the reasons why I am so popular on this board. It's a racing certainty, mate. I don't really understand what point you are trying to make, here. Are you saying that Arsenal winning the FA Cup would be justification for Wenger staying another two years?
Winning a major trophy (FA Cup) is infinitely more of an achievement than finishing higher in the League than a rival (does anyone keep a record of that ? Err no) Your comments just show how small club minded you are, in that you truly believe that finishing above Arsenal is worth more than a major trophy! Spurs 2016/17 season will consist of: not winning the League title not winning the FA Cup not winning the League Cup not winning the Champions League* *not getting out of the easiest group not winning the Europa League** **not getting past the part timers Winning the Top 4 Trophy Spurs haven't won the League in 55 years Spurs haven't won the FA Cup in 25 years Spurs haven't won the CL or EL #smallclubmentality
Your support for Arsenal and Wenger is admirable, Skiddy. I still think you are wumming the Gooners, though, by setting them up for a massive fall. I agree with you, that with all of their experience, getting dumped out of the CL in humiliating fashion from the CL, they should be able to blitz the Europey League quite easily. It would be a supreme humiliation for them not to win that competition. I think you should start a thread about it, Skiddy: "Arsenal Europey League Campaign Watch" or something along those lines, so that we can all laugh when, inevitably, they get dumped out of it. That was a splendid idea, Skiddy! Well done.
beating a top side like Man City in a cup semi is a top achievement, especially with Arsenal's recent poor form.
News flash just in ..., Spurs finish above Arsenal and the deluded Spurs fans think they have "won" something and party like there is no tomorrow ! because tomorrow might mean that this is a one-off occasion
HIAG, the only person who can come up with the idea that not winning a trophy is better than winning one Still waiting for your medal proof Tyler
