They're ****s that will stand up to the ****s in the EU, not ****s that can't even say whether they'd take out the leader of ISIS given the chance, or ****s that are homophobic and believe gay sex is a mortal sin

Steady on Goldie, I think you just broke my profanity filter. Were you offended by my light-hearted jibe? Are you a dyed-in-the-wool Tory? A bit over the top on Farron, too. Saint Teresa is every bit as religiously homophobic.

Macron will surely wipe the floor with Le Pen in two weeks time. I hope he takes into account the strength of her support nonetheless

    I'm not so sure.
Heard it before with Labour/Brexit/Trump. I was in France last week and most of the people I was talking to said they would vote Le Pen. I think her supporters are like the quiet Tory's who say nothing until polling day. Except of course to me.
SKY are doing their usual impartial reporting? <doh>

They have had a real vote, which I am surprised your French friends didn't make you aware of. She came second when she was expected to win. Now she gets to finish second by a much bigger margin in the run off vote.

I'm saying she is going to win. I just won't count her out. Remember all the polls said Trump would never get in and he did. The French system can get quite confusing.

Confusing? You have a vote to weed out the field to two candidates and then a vote between them. How is that confusing? Macron will win 60-40, Macron will get all of Melnchon and most of Fillons votes, but if the reverse happens I am sure you will let me know.

Once she delivers a softish Brexit, you'll learn to love her. Those Cu.. pussies in the EU just need to drop the punitive threats

What punitive threats? I'm hoping that she will go all soft and gooey, let's see what is said in the manifesto.

Perhaps May should drop her threat to turn Britain into an offshore tax haven?

...which came in response to the threats. It's school playground stuff at the moment, with Trump of the lower Sixth tarting out his favours

References? Plenty have said that the UK cannot have the benefits of being an EU member without being a member, which I think is self evident. Some have said we should be made to honour the financial obligations we have committed to as members. Again, understandable, you don't get let off your mortgage or credit card debts when you get divorced.

But it does help the basic hysteria to continue painting our negotiating partners as vengeful maniacs to blame if we end up with a **** deal.

So by a process of elimination that leaves you with Nuttalls or the Greens............and I doubt Nuttalls is as concerned about gay rights as you are Goldie.
