Ok, we SHOULD win those game. Soton is the big worry.

Can we ban people for extreme pessimism?

Arsenal winning today was massive for them. They have relatively easy fixtures and have a cup final to look forward to.

No he wasn't - he was ineffective, but not through lack of effort. If I had to apply the word dire to anyone, it would be Origi I'm afraid.

fair play to Benteke. He had a point to prove and did just that.

    As for us:

    1. No creativity to break down a weakened palace back line
    2. No idea what to do with the ball in wide areas. Nobody making the right runs even if we did manage to get the ball into the box.
    3. No idea defensively. Just not good enough. Whoever is the defensive coach should be sacked.
    4. No January signings is coming back to haunt us; if this was Klopp's wishes, he only has himself to blame.

Seriously pissed off right now.....hope I don't have to speak to the misses <laugh>

Nah, he was very good defensively and he was involved in some good play. It wasn't a great performance but there were plenty of others who were far worse.

Coutinho practically tried to win the game himself.

Mweh...didn't see anything we haven't seen all season..

So: still need an entire first pick back 4 and an entire midfield...

Oh and if greedy maybe another pacey wide man...

Ok, so lets say we win 3 and lose to Southampton. That means we need utd to lose 2 games and hope their goal difference is sh!t. City, well they can lose to utd and still have a game in hand to overtake us.

So you're expecting us to lose to Watford, Middlesbrough and West Ham? Like I said Soton is the really worry as we've play **** against them recently, but I really think CAN win provided we play well.

On point 2 - we have the worst full backs in the league IMO - neither can defend and they can't attack.

Point 3 - a defensive coach won't work. The problem is the personnel - were starting players like Milner Lovren and Lucas.

Milner isn't a defender so we can let him off. Lovren is ****. He's always been ****. He will always be ****. And it's for one simple reason - he's not a good defender. This is guy is a rotten apple of our defence and he's poison. For their second goal, he literally made 3-4 errors in the whole build up of the goal

Carra mentioned it during the game but when we have the ball our full backs are almost furthers forward out wide and the opposition wingers come back and make it a back 6. Everything just gets packed with no where for people to run.

Need to just hold back a bit and the wingers will either stay forward but more and creates more space at top end, or they go back not picking anyone up and full backs can make runs from deep unmarked. No real game intelligence though

He needs to use the January windows. He's had chances so no excuses.

Don't watch a lot of Liverpool, but I thought he was poor today. He seems really lightweight with little ball control?

True, but I look at Utd's fixtures and I see draws or wins against other top4 rivals.
They've also potentially lost their only fit CB today.

It's rare anyone signs anyone half decent in January. Especially when most of our targets will be at CL teams or teams competing to get into CL and clubs won't want to sell.

Yeah ah it's been great to sign 2/3 players. For all we know we may have tried to sign a few and been given silly fees or shut down right away.
