MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES Alistair Mann: "Only two sides are in better current form than Crystal Palace - that one of them is Liverpool demonstrates why this weekend's match is so enticing. "Both have won five of their last seven games as they strive to reach their contrasting targets and, with Palace having won on their last two visits to Anfield, Liverpool are fully aware of the difficulty the visitors will present. "By contrast, Sam Allardyce has never won a league match at the famous stadium in 13 previous attempts. "But having recorded wins against both Chelsea and Arsenal recently, he may well go there with as much expectation as hope, with striker Christian Benteke particularly keen to impress on his first return since he was sold by Jurgen Klopp last August." Need to stop crosses into Benteke. Hopeful if Palace go long Lucas an do what he did well against WBA and sit infront of CF and win those headers or at least force him to flick on rather than bring it down. Hope they miss Sakho at the back and having to change CB partnership disrupts things.
Brewster to be our Rashford? Klopp saying he probably won't come on though, just filling the numbers. If were comfortable with 15 mins left be nice to give him some minutes though
Too slow. Walking the ball up to 18 yard box then just playing square and slowly before trying a silly killer pass.
We've a ridiculously weak team. How is Lucas playing ?! Not like we've had a load of mid weeks to rotate through Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's been average. Palace defending well and breaking, we lack the creativity so far to break them down....we're getting the ball wide but as usual, nothing from it.
Just before he hit it I said 'bit too far out this'. Shows me Brilliant free kick, we've been poor so far so should help confidence
