Mate I work closely with the industry, personally I'm not directly in contact with the production but with financing. I've seen things in the last 3 years that have blown my mind, I've seen patents going in nearly every single week on different strains and compound combinations. I've seen a capsule made with modified release pain management, then successfully used to manage a condition that is classified officially as incurable to this day. But this product will never ever enter a market without billions of dollars worth of investment and research. A pharma company paid $300m for the formula for Omega-3, you can only imagine what they'd pay for the formula for something more meaningful. It's deluded to assume people out there are developing strains to hand them over for nothing. All that will change hands for nothing is blanket crap that will hit every brick wall possible when being approved by the relevant authorities.
two main chemicals in cannabis are CBD and THC, different strains and types of strains have different percentage ratios of the two making some better for certain illnesses than others.
Fair enough, you clearly know more on the financial side than I do. So I'd assume that if a pharma company bought the formula then the small time growers would be shafted? I know with a license you can grow hemp now in the UK. Would that all change? I'm hoping not. I do know in the states one of the issues for years has been that to study drugs it has to be in line with the National Abuse guidelines, basically meaning that they clamp out anyone wanting to study therapeutic research on substances that people can abuse. That sucks massively as it's held back the definite answers that science should have by now. The Scientist (2015) documentary that I posted earlier is excellent and leaves so many viable options for research. Such a shame that Israel doesn't have the financial backing that the US has for example. Have a look if you have an hour to spare. Fascinating stuff.
To be honest mate it's pointless debatimg what would happen here when the terms of it being legal are hypothetical. It's important to get humans trialling this all over the world, as fast as possible and hopefully lives will stop being lost unnecessarily, to suicide for example. What happens to the growers I assume initially they become a vital asset to new industries. Clinics will form, they partner up with growers who are instructed by experts in chemistry, out of nothing you have a blossoming industry that will be around for hundreds of years developing the product using the data coming back from patients in the trials. One thing is certain though, where there is pain and suffering there is money to be made. On a much more fundamental level, people taking things into their own hands, it's obviously working for some people but where's the data? We need real numbers to break the walls down.
Just a view, but could not the WHO take some interest in these products and form some sort of organisation to benefit those nations that are willing to contribute to funding? Some sort of agreement with any patent holder would have to be arranged where they received a suitable annual hefty income.
The politics of cannabis must be insane. How do world governments turn an illegal business into a legal, potential billion / trillion dollar industry without rewarding the cartels who run it already? The pass mark on that exam question is anything under a thousand pages of A4 that the UN will vote through.
The same with cocaine, following the latest war there the world had the perfect opportunity to cut off the Afghan supply by allowing the farmers to grow the poppies, buy the crops then destroy them, it would cost know more than cost of fighting their smuggling. Farmers get guaranteed income and more attention could be paid to other suppliers.
We've got our hands on a strain that is shrinking people's cancer cells or at least stagnating them. The 3 people I know who have all been taking the oil made from this strain, have all had great results. One woman has just had an operation to remove the cancer from her body after the oil slowed the cancer up and stopped it from spreading, which it was doing. Waiting for her next scan but I'm very hopeful for that her cancer is completely gone now. The government just need to come to Jarra. We have a strain that works. Right here.
People doing it in private are very reluctant to come forward. It's still illegal so it has to be done hush hush, at the moment. Nobody wants their door going in and losing the very thing that could be the difference between living and dying.
Cannabis and cancer treatment is astounding, like seriously interesting imo. I've seen someone on Chemotherapy having raw side effects, constant sickness etc. one piece of the right strain and they have felt brand new. Witnessed it with my own eyes. There are also a lot of reports (like you say) that Cancer can be 'cured' by Cannabis use. Lot's of information out there about it. Clinical studies on Mice (and Pigs iirc) have shown that that some compounds in cannabis can not only halt the cancer spreading but can actually kill the cancerous cells. Incredible. Some people are missing a trick here.
I'm fairly certain that the oil definitely can kill cancer cells. You need a strain that has at least a thc content of 22%. The higher the better, though. It's not solely an indica strain you can use, but it's very hard to find a sativa strain that has thc contents as high as an indica strain. By the time our lives are coming to a close, I honestly think this will all be sorted and put to bed. Next up for investigation... Acacia root bark (DMT)
I've investigated that a little too much over the years! I'm guessing you have too!! I had a full blown meal with a caveman family once. I've also flown across the pacific on the back of a butterfly. Stuff is so strong. Even when you don't fully breakthrough you're in a 6d world. No comedown though and a very quick buzz that doesn't linger. Although it feels like you're in another dimension for about 2 days (it's actually about 5-10 minutes ) I used to get it direct from a friend in Holland. Luckily he's moved on in life, as I'm getting a bit old for those shenanigans!
I really can't go into it because this thing is deep what it brought out in me. It gave me an answer on something that I wasn't even looking for, or ever thought about, and because of that I was able to face something through counselling. We already have dmt within us. Is this everything as we know it, or does it widen reality? It's a head ****, I think it's more than just a trip, mate.
I've always said you don't fully know yourself until you've done DMT. I've reflected on so many life experiences due to what I've believed to be reality. I won't ever touch it again (probably!). And as it stands I don't see any potential health benefits. I'm probably wrong as you correctly say we already have it within us. It's far more than a trip, I agree. It's a life changer. Really deep stuff.
'You don't fully know yourself until you have done dmt' I like that, mate. It's very true indeed. Certainly life changing.
