Great win at Portman Road today, good to be up and running and hopefully it'll be something to get us going. Much more cheerful this evening! Good for Matty to get off the mark and from speaking to a friend who was there they said it was a carbon copy of away games last year with everyone working hard and grinding out a result. Hopefully we can back it up at Bellend road at Tuesday. Now we just need to pick up at home! Said friend said at away games the atmosphere is so much better, no jumping on players backs or anything and everyone is keeping the lads going vocally witht heir support. Maybe we as fans have a responsibility to keep the players going and not go quiet if we aren't 1-0 up after 10 minutes. Hopefully it'll stop some of the doom and gloom that was hanging around and cheer the fans up. The only thing i would pick Nigel up on would be dropping Simpson which was a harsh deicision in my opinion when none of the strikers were firing on all cylinders. Here's to a more cheerful night on the forum! (Percy, that includes you!)

there was only about 450 city fans there today..but was nice and noisy at times..
definatley where more encouraging as well, ....city grew more and more into the game as the 2nd half went on, just couldnt find the goal...and even when the odd misplaced pass was hit out of play etc, the fans made even more noise if anything to gee them back up, rather then being negative..hard to argue it doesnt have a positive effect on the team..

I think listening to Matty Fryatt he was alluding to pretty much exactly the same affect.... lets hope it stays like that for Leeds on Tuesday :D

I got in trouble with the missus for arriving home having completely lost my voice.

We didn't stop all game, our away support is normally decent, but it was a cut above yesterday.

There was some good humour thrown in too, we pretty much covered our entire back catalogue, along with following 'we don't lose away' with 'we don't win at home'. <laugh>

NP doesn't rate him, he came in when we were skint and cost us almost nothing, now he'd like to replace him but we've had no offers.

I was thinking it was more likely he was in trouble because she had friends round and he couldn't join in with them, then when she asked him how he'd feel if she came home unable to talk when he had friends over he gave an honest answer.
