Well fair play it was a great game and Spurs played their part. Thought Lame faded badly and Dembaless only turned up when the game was over for some kicking practise. But the camera shot of the day was seeing Danny boy sitting there with a face that would have soured a milk float and must have been thinking 'the lying Argentinian bastard'. Kante & Luiz were peerless and Willian supreme. Ake had a good solid game and Hazard took the piss and Costa held the line well. Worst player on the pitch Batshit for Chelsea, we should sell him to West Ham. Bottle anyone?
I cannot believe that the ref didn't book any of the Chelsea players, when they were committing fouls all over the park to break up our play. We dominated the possession, but just couldn't make it pay. That, coupled with some loose defending around the edge of our box, was fatal for us. it's time to fix our focus on finishing no lower than second, so I hope the lads recover from their disappointment quickly.
Well-played Chelsea! Great game to watch. Until their 4th went in you were never quite sure which way it would go. Some strange tactical decisions by Poch but for me what is glaringly obvious is that we need a different corner taker. I'm sure that we could put matches to bed more easily if we capitalised on the number of corners we win.
Eriksen has been dreadful all season with his set pieces. Surely, we must have someone else who an take freekicks and corners?
