I've got viceland on my Now tv, not really watched anything else on they but I will now ta fella.

Was disappointed the second season lacked the depth of the first, they were obviously told to cut the length of the programs. Yeah he's sound as a pount the host. That nose though, it's not that it's big, big noses are ten a penny, it's that he's got a water drop like bit of skin on the tip <laugh>

Have you seen High Maintanence? the comedy about the dealer on his bike. strange old show, quite enjoyed it.

even back then there were certinly a fair few people "self medicating" for various ailments - though the 2 i most came into contact with were pain and spasms/twitches.

Aye, discovered by recreational means, those numbers have gathered pace over the years fortunately and help put pressure on research to be done. Just not near enough of it in this country unfortunately. :(

the thing that always got me that if i go into hospital i watch opiates being handed out like candy for pain relief. I confused my hospital by having only 1 dose last time i was in yet you had blokes in our side ward who seemed ok until the drugs trolley came round <whistle>
As an aside on NHS waste as i had received one dose of oral morphine in a 10 day stay they sent me home with a bottle of the stuff with a dozen doses in it . They refused to discharge me unless i took all the prescribed stuff home with me including 32 paracetamol <doh>

yeah it's just the hypocrisy of it all.
one of the nurses sked me why i wasn't having the offered pain relief , probably because i was clearly in more pain than most of the guys asking for it, and as i pointed out if you keep using it for constantly it will stop having the same effect and sometimes i have to use it to get thru the day.

Well I was just gonna stay on the same dose Bri - 1000 mg a day.
    I'm on beater blockers too.
Like you say I should speak to my doctor about it.
    Interesting you mentioning fluoxidine.
Been on that & found it evil stuff.
I started to flush mine down the toilet.
    Couldn't handle it.
They had me on all sorts the MOD docs.
They never really got my PTSD sorted, just pissed about experimenting.
Infact, tbh with you, I'm not even sure I've got it.
I still have dreams about it like.
They diagnosed me after Bosnia, put me on all the anti-d ****.
After that they discharged me on medical grounds as I was no use to them anymore.
I just want some peace. A quiet life & some tranquillity.
    Small thing to ask.

That's my gripe with public perception, who do you think funds clinical trials?

We can't have our cake and eat it, nobody else is going to throw £millions at each strain in development in return for zero shares in the company and no rights to patient data.

    Government agencies?

The last thing we want is a god given plant being synthesised so that the rich get richer, and the poor get systematically ****ed over.

Let it grow, let people live.

Any grower with experience would know how to breed the CBD and decrease the amount of THC. It's happening all round the world. Extracting CBD from THC heavy plants is also happening world wide. Some of the most natural and best CBD is in Europe.

I just don't want pharma companies exploiting society by synthesising CBD. That's what I see happening when health organisations start believing.

We're some way off this happening tbh, so it's purely just my thoughts on it <ok>

    I use this https://cbdbrothers.com/product/cbd-oil-paste-10-8/

People in America without a MM ticket also use this site. This is some of the finest CBD available in the world, available next day from UK. On par with 'Charlotte's Web' but you need a MM ticket to get that in the USA.

We're actually far more advanced than people think.

People smoke too much of high thc strains though, less really is more when it comes to THC medicating. Can't go smoking doses like people do recreationally. It's too much, especially if you have anxiety like I do. I smoke half a gram spread across a day. Not a lot really. I only go over it if I'm having a drink or have friends round, but then I'm doing it recreational. If I smoked those levels every day like some do I'd probably be suffering psychosis by now.

    True.

The strains I get are heavy ended THC so 1 pipe and I'm stoned. Can't be doing that during the day <ok>

I'd rather do a days graft on a Sativa than an Indica like. Indicas make you limbs feel heavy. All you want to do is sit on your arse and do nowt. Sativa gives you get up and go. THC is sky high in those with lower CBD levels. Problem is Indica is quicker to grow so it tends to be what dealers sell. I have a man now who takes pride in offering variety so get more access to lovely sativas like Sour D. mmm

The new high THC, high CBD medical strains sound like pure knock out gear, going to help a lot of terminally ill people remain lucid but comfortable in their final days.

Side note, They're close to nailing plants with THC levels below the legal cut off too so could be legal for medical grows for the CBD medicators very soon. They're down to 5% THC where the legal THC levels in hemp in this country is 4% I beleive.
