So, with talks of Ngog close to leaving to Bolton we're looking in more need of a backup striker, but how badly do we need one? We will have 3 experienced strikers to choose from: Suarez, Carroll and Kuyt. Kuyt has been "converted" into a right winger so is more likely to be played on the right anyway leaving us with 2 true strikers. So, if Suarez or Carroll gets injured we will need another striker, do we buy another one before the window is out, or do we utilise Morgan from the Academy as he looks more likely to make the step up?
I'd be happy to see Morgan get game time but I'm not sure he'd cope playing long term if Carroll or Suarez got a bad injury. Personally I'd rather we waited until January and just utilise Ngog or Morgan as 4th choice until then. Think we need to bed in the players we've already bought in first.
in fairness if were offering poulsen it'll probably have to be 6 quid .. 5 for torres and a quid for them to take poulsen
Hey! leave the mighty Igor out of this. Even using Poulsen's name in the same post (nay in the same thread) as the Mighty Igor is an insult
We've got too many of those around the place. And if they're not made of glass, they're made of ****!
i like to think of him as ****ty glass .. you know the type thats not good enough to be a bottle or a window so gets ground up into insulation
