No point trying to talk sense to that tit! As for carra getting a red, not in the context of what the ref had let go before.
Yeah, I'd agree with that actually. There was a replay of Cattermole's late tackle on Adam, and the angle they showed had Dowd in the foreground and there were no bodies between him and the incident. He could see it clear as day, but he just waved it on as if it was some kind of advantage to Sunderland. That being said, we had two dodgy and very beneficial decisions against them last season. So we're about even now I think.
Whilst i don't believe there was any intent in Carra's tackle, he did get away with it. You win some and you lose some and then you draw some - it's football and crap refs!
You could say that with the amount of times I've moved home over the years (Ex Army) and the fact that I'm of Irish descent!
Don't get KPR started on Ireland. I swear he's got some sort of software that scans these forums for any mention of the place. The same software the Mancs use for any mention of them, although they spend most of their time on this board anyway...
if you look at it from the viewpoint of the ref ferdinand was in front of alice...... ferdinand jumped and fell as if he had been shoved in the back by alice, a very good performance as from the refs view it was a deffo foul by alice but from tv it was not......if you are bieing fair to the ref you would give a foul also.... lol
If he's from Liverpool, there is a very high chance that KPR has Irish blood somewhere in his family history
Without question, Anton made a good job of it 8/10 from me The ref has to call it as he sees it and you're right, from his angle it looked like a shove in the back....... ...but we know different
KPR will go APE! Even though I've told him that by now the chances of him being a pure-blooded Irish gale is very remote He certainly isn't Scouse. You may aslo be surprised to find that there is also a lot of Scots and Welsh backgrounds in Liverpool as well as Irish and English. I suppose it's the mixtures that make us Scousers - and proud of it no matter where we may roam
Just watched this about 10 times, if this isnt a push then..... go to about 24 seconds. http://fullhighlights.blogspot.com/2011/08/video-carroll-goal-vs-sunderland.html PS: it was definately a push/nudge and the goal shouldnt have stood.
