    30 fans killed in Calabar


    About 30 football fans are now feared dead in the south-southern Nigerian city of Calabar after a high tension cable reportedly fell, leading to their electrocution late on Thursday.

    It is understood that the fans were gathered at a viewing centre in Atimbo area of Calabar to watch the Uefa Europa League game between Manchester United and RSC Anderlecht.

    The live high tension cable reportedly broke off from its anchor and fell on the viewing centre which housed the fans causing panic.

    The exact official figure of casualties still cannot be ascertained but around 30 people are reported to have been killed in the inciden

    Zlatan is out for a period longer than remaining in this season.

    (I hate when press sensationalise the least knock when there's a month of season left by saying out for season)

    Nobody has said if he might miss preseason or what at this point but they are pointing out his extension is not signed so that might be that.

    Nobody has uttered a word about rojo.

    Has anyone commented on the shocking news that the dortmund bus explosions were in fact nothing more than a deluded fool trying to short shares in the publicly quoted club.

    Astonishing the guy was in a room on the top floor of the team hotel and let the bombs off after taking out a loan to support buying shares he wanted to then sell lower and take the profit.

    He has been arrested today I think. And would have expected made 3.2mil... so he risked killing people and leaving an obvious trail of activity....
