The mancs just scraped through. Lucky lucky win for them. Shame that Anderlecht didn't push more for that decisive goal.

From that performance there is no way the mancs can win the Europa.

You obviously never notice that I only post at half time and full time when we play, I usually spend the time in between actually watching the match <ok> :emoticon-0100-smile

Rashford's finishing is very erratic.. suppose he's young, but sometimes doesn't look like can kick the ball properly like Sterling used to struggle. Isn't a sweet striker of the ball. Does look real talent with his pace and movement though.

He is not alone with that in our team, the amount of good chances we miss is ridiculous and needs sorting before next season.

Ibra should be on about 40 goals this year from clear cut chances! For such a brilliant striker, he has missed a lot. Never watched him over a season to know if that's just how he has spent his whole career though. Always playing for best teams in league means he gets loads of chances so scores loads of goals, but isn't clinical.

Pogba seems to miss a lot as well, not a natural goal scoring midfielder.

Ibra always looks too casual to me, as though he just expects the ball to go in.
Pogba has been a bit unlucky with the woodwork this season but as you say, is not a natural goal scorer anyway.
Rashford is young and hopefully will become much more clinical.

For me (surprisingly) the most clinical goal scorer we have had in the last couple of years is Mata, he gets very few chances yet manages to stick a fair portion of them in the net.

Not buying that. When we hit the woodwork about 25 times in season under Kenny was nothing to do with luck, just poor finishing.

Rashford should improve, but again doesn't look a natural finisher. Looks a runner and Vardy type where he'll get goals just because pace will get him into situations, but he's more just a hit and hope type (even his goal today was a scruffy deflection) rather than knowing exactly what's he's going to do with the ball.

Zlatan is strange - he conjures up some goals out of almost nothing then misses much simpler chances. I only saw about half the game, but he looked really wayward tonight.

Injury didn't look good. Probably out for the season I'd imagine. If not at least a good 2/3 weeks as will probably swell up

I only saw the second half tonight (go to daughters for tea on Thursdays) but even then he had 3 good chances and fluffed them all but looked far too casual in doing so.
Like you say, he seems much better at pulling off the difficult (where he has to actually try).

I would think that was season over, really seemed to open the knee. I am not sure at this point if that is a good thing or bad for our chances of top 4 or EL.

Would you prefer him to not extend the contract?
