Definitely go 3 at the back and definitely start Lloris. Not sure who to drop, probably Son, although he always seems to play well against Chelsea. If there are any even slight fitness issues for Eriksen or Alli, I'd put them on the bench instead though, it's a very tough call. Dembele's a bit of a concern for the rest of the season, we can't afford to lose him with no Winks able to step in and we have a few 3 game weeks for him to get through. Hopefully we can go 4-0 up against Chelsea and take him off after an hour
It is a joke, but still a tremendous compliment that both Rose and Walker got in. I may be alone in saying that I think Jan has been better than Toby this season. Had my doubts about him last season but I think the switch to 3 at the back really suits him and has allowed him to up his game to another level.
Also worth highlighting the fact that Ryan Sessegnon made the Championship TOTY despite only starting around 50% of fulham's games this year. Shows what an impact he has made. Sign the boy in the summer and loan him back for a season says I.
Im not mate, wish i was...but got no chance of getting tickets. Dont forget to be the 12th man ...thats all i wanted to say
Not alone, CK, I've said the same on another thread and mentioned it to a fella down The Lane who also agreed. Toby's still the best CB in the Prem but Jan has been immense this season.
Not noticeably recently....... He is arguably the better LB defensively and is clearly developing a great understanding with Verts. May come back to haunt me, but if the guys in front of him do their jobs then he will be fine! Edit!! He didn't have a good game at Mouserville, but was left exposed down that flank with Mane made the most of. But he wasn't alone in having an off day.....
Weirdly he struggles more against the middle of the road teams, such as his gerbil's elbow performances against Swansea and Burnley.
Ok thanks chaps, I'm just trying to work out who Chelsea will identify as Spurs weak link...there must be one!
Poch continues to exceed my expectations in his press confs. He says all the right things and displays an understanding of nuances in language that belies his 'supposed' limitation of English. His words about Brighton & Chrissy Hughton were spot on and his underplaying of our chances fighting against one of the 'best teams in Europe'. Brilliant management of the media!!
