Because.....we've lost every game Cahill has ever played for us?? Or because this is more hyperbolic nonsense?

Stan, why do you get so hysterical?
There is no chance we are falling out of the top 4.
Even if we lost all our remaining games, we would still probably stay in the top 4 at this stage.

Yes, 4th spot is the only hope we have at this time. With Cahill we can kiss goodbye to title.

It is neither hysteric nor hyperbolic - just fact. Same with Mikel who didn't kick a ball for us this season.
    Was I wrong?

I just call spade a spade. Don't care about being politically right, ever.

It's not 'fact' though is it?

A 'fact' is, we are top of the league with Cahill having played all season in our defence. It is not a fact we will not win the title if Cahill continues to play. It's at best opinion, a silly one at that. Do you really want to put Zouma or Ake in the firing line at the most crucial part of our season? 2 players who have barely kicked a ball for us all season.

yes I do. I will take that chance playing Zouma.

My opinion is based on clear facts - Cahill is directly responsible for most of the goals we have conceded.
I repeat - we have a fighting chance for title if Cahill is benched, If not kiss title goodbye.

Fair enough. I think it's harsh to lay all the blame at one player though. We win and lose as a team. Personally I would let the team that got us to this position see it through and re-evaluate the squad and starting 11 in the summer.

I would imagine that the Football Writers awards will make far more sense. It's rarely a good idea to ask footballers, and hence the PFA, their opinion on anything.

Don't see us winning today by any means.
Extra time defeat will help us in confidence but will sap out team for Tuesday.
So, would settle for a 1 goal defeat. Best result I can hope is 1-2 loss.

guess Toby was out injured for majority of Spuds season. Otherwise, Spuds will be leading the title race tbh.
Not surprised Toby is not in the 11.

Why not Stan? Spurs don't usually perform at Wembley and have an appalling record in semi finals. Ake is in for Cahill who has gastro problems. Both teams are probably cable of winning it but I expect to see the long overdue Spud bottle come into play.

Exactly - nobody expects Spuds to win anything - let alone a huge Semifinal over a huge team like us.
    They have no pressure.

Repeat - Spuds are like Lester & We are like Spuds from last season.

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Ake; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Willian, Batshuayi, Pedro

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Trippier, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Wanyama, Dembele, Son, Eriksen, Alli, Kane

I Love Conte for showing the balls!!

We do have a fighting chance!! Up the Batters!! Boy deserves his chance & cannot get bigger than this.

How can you rest players for a semi final? You're one game away?! One of the worlds best players who has started only 32 games this year is tired? Shocking decision.
