Just got back from barnsley and i have to say that jack cork was absolutely immense, could be signing of the season, also even though i'm not a fan of seabourne i have to say that he played well, lallana was just lallana and the bit of skill he performed in the second half was worth the entrance fee alone! there was a spell in the 2nd half where we kept the ball for a while and it was a weird feeling thinking that it was actually southampton performing like that, very proud! Oh and if any barnsley fans are reading this can i just say that your support was the worst i have seen,no cheering when your team was read out and this is no lie but i cannot remember them even singing one song, never known it before! weird!
Strangely, I thought that was in the first half. Perhaps it happened in both. There was a point where Adam Blackmore just kept saying Saints player [insert name] to Saints player [insert name] to... and it went on for ages. They weren't doing a 1970's Leeds, but actually moving the ball around with intent. The Barnsley players were chasing shadows during that time. Come to think of it, we did a little bit of that to Leeds last week as well.
Nah deffo second half that i'm thinking of but maybe it happened in the 1st half too,Either way it was awesome to watch.
I bet..! I was at The Dell for the World's Best Ever Team Goal, so I know what you mean. watch 2.55mins in, unless you want to see Liverpool win on the day.
What a signing Cork is! Must say Seaborne was absolutey class today with Fonte. Having second thoughts about slating him if he keeps playing like that! For myself, a long weekend in a Barnsley Premier Inn after my car broke down after the game. Great! I knew i should of got the train.
Yeh.smelt of burning clutches on that slope, people just don't wanna use there handbrakes! At least you got a nice night in barnsley hmmmmmmmm.
