So what are your facts? The Allams would have let the game go ahead if the ERCFA had paid the price they were demanding so all that guff about standard etc doesn't come into it.
So they've had a year and only just realised they didn't have the cash so got Curtis and Ash to run to the local media? Also, previous page made me laugh. What have the Allams ever done for Hull and the local area? Apart from the aqueduct of course...
I'm not a member of ERCFA nor a frequenter of the Allams, but only a blinkered buffoon would ignore the increasingly stringent standards for modern stadia. Google Stadium Grow Lighting. This ain't Stan Coombs with his Qualcast anymore.
Yes, Alderman Kneeshaw, YPI, Costello, Picky Park etc None of them as far as I know host PL football.
They assumed it had gone back down since last year? Or they assumed HCC would sub it again? I don't recall any bleating on here about the cost last year either.
Correct. So the issue is with ERFA being unable to do basics. Despite knowing the costs. Despite doing **** all about it until too late. But it's more convenient to blame Darth Allam. Despite the facts.
It was an issue last year The tax payers of Hull were picking up, what is in my opinion, an unnecessary tab East Riding FA should have been more public then saying 'thanks for that HCC, but this really needs reviewing for next year because it seems too expensive' They may we'll have said something that I haven't seen of course None of which means the SMC , or whoever, is right though Regardless of 'running the club like a business' and all that stuff this was an opportunity for the club to build a small part of the bridge back to the fans. They chose not to which says a lot ...we're, at best, irrelevant
You're right it is very sad On the last point though, I must admit I've genuinely forgotten (or more likely never really understood!) the structure of the SMC. Can HCC examine their role and do anything about it if they think it should be done?
I'm not certain what they were, but I do recall something about community caveats in the lease agreement. At the very least the terms should be revisited. My main point though, is that there should be a strong focus on putting pressure on the HCC (and the FA, PL and media) to challenge the decisions of the owners. Cracks will eventually be found and, in the end, ownership will be a problem not worth having. Working with these fools shouldn't be considered an option, the aim should always be getting them to sell.
The facts are that the fee has now been raised, but all of a sudden there's a new reason they can't host it, not enough time. Every time we draw a cup game away, we can arrange a replay in two weeks, but arranging a game for someone else and four weeks isn't enough? Of course there's plenty of time to arrange this game, there is no reasonable reason for refusing to do so. Lickspittle is right.
Wonder how much Emperor Alamantine (aka Darth Insidious) & Ehab the Butt charged themselves for the 'polo & squash tournaments' ?
Lickspittle? Lol. This is a mess entirely of the local FAs making. Could the SMC help or do more? I've no idea. Nor have you. You've no idea why they're not. It could simply the FA have made alternate arrangements and didn't wanna change again. As usual you refuse to see fault or blame anywhere else. I'm still baffled as to why HCC paid last year and why no one is bothered by that.
GTF Smurfwaite, you Borough supporting turd with your anti HCFC agenda. GTF Mudbank, giving this quisling gobshite airtime to spout his pro RL, pro Brid, pro Smoggo jaundiced views. Brid play young City in the Final. Would we spite our own youngsters just for the hell of it?
Oi I've been bothered about that! I think it was very odd, and very quietly done Still doesn't (and didn't) make the price hike right though
That's such a pathetic snivelling attitude. The facts are there. The cost was low, now it's more than triple. That decision was made purely by the SMC. It's really sad that there are people so desperate to see good in the Allams, no matter how hard they try to be villains, that they come up with all this windy bollocks about unknown facts. The facts are absolutely clear. The cost has tripled because the SMC hiked the price. There's no absence of facts at all, and just as importantly this is absolutely in character of the Allams. They've done it time and time again over a period of years. They just love penny pinching from the local community for no obvious gain beyond showing everyone how mighty and powerful they are. And someone always defends with them with this pathetic arguement. Saying things like "We don't know all the facts." When we obviously ****ing do. Yet of course when it suits they do know all the facts, it's just a handy excuse for defending the indefensible. And finally, the implication that those of us who just look at it for what it is are just doing so because we're so awfully 'anti-Allam'. Like we just set out to hate them for no reason, and not because they're an utterly despicable set of ****s who take glee in riding roughshod over the community. A community that welcomed them with open arms when they fled a dictatorship and gave them somewhere to earn their fortune, only for them to set up their own little dictatorship right here.
