haha, that piece was written by an avid kopite btw mate, and I loved the way it focused on the stadium as opposed to the entire Waterfront and erm half the town.

The point is the Echo picked that article up from another obscure website, it wasn't as if the author sent it to them. The article if I remember correctly also discussed the findings from JMU that the whole city would practically be under water in 200 years time. As it happens the stadium project has to have a climate change assessment anyway. Water levels rising are already a problem for Peel down on the front.

 

The Echo is a rag tbh. The comments on that 108k stadium piece are quite funny in parts though.

I don't think the woman concerned has got any football affiliation she just thinks the city of Liverpool could be the home of the 2nd biggest stadium in the world and has produced the CAD's to back that up. Don't knock dreamers
