Not true. If Man u win all there games this means they beat Man City and as Man u is there game in hand they would go above Man City. Leaving us in 4th with Man u 3rd.

The 'nature of the game' excuse for crap decisions is bollocks though.

Using last nights game as an example. An off field official tells the referee in seconds that Vidal shouldn't go and that Ronaldo is offside for that first ET goal.

He also tells him that he should send off that diving cheat in the Real shirt......

If the 'nature of the game' is that we have to consistently live with games being decided by ****e officiating, then it's time to readdress it.

Simply I think we have to move on and adapt with changing technology available. There are constant rule changes; look how the offside rule has developed, extra time changes regularly, 30 years ago there weren't even 3 substitutes in games and before that games could be decided by the flip of a coin even.

There are many more examples, but the game develops and the current big thing is utilising the technology available to us. No one has a bad thing to say about goal line technology right? Then its hardly a big leap to an additional referee or group of reviewing decisions live.

It took ages for goal line technology to be implemented. Now no one has any doubt that it is a good thing. With all the cameras and technology available we really shouldn't have 2 offside goals being missed. It is a matter of fairness. Bayern was competing well up to that point. How did Vidal get 2 yellows when Casemiro only had one (did he get booked) and still on the pitch?

Disgraceful dodgy refereeing. Will UEFA investigate?

If you implement video refs then abuse towards officials drop massively. With the goal line technology its a case of a player looking at the ref and waiting for a yes or a no. No one argues as its 100% correct.

If a ref issues a wrong decision and we have video refs then it can be a case of a manager asking for it to be reviewed and either the decision reversed or confirmed as correct. This stops the players surrounding the ref and complaining and all decisions are fair.

People think that the 'love of the game' will be ruined but if i go back to the Liverpool match v West Brom. Very dull match but the last five mins we had a keeper play outfield and a half way line shot missed dreadfully. That is why we watch football, for excitement like that. Not for a player to dive and get away with it, that just leaves negativity.

I agree on the sensless and needless falling over stuff. Refs give silly frees these days but if viedo refs were used i would like

    A) end of diving as a result

    B) end of fall over and its an auto whistle.

    C) end of mouth out of players and surrounding officials

    D) intro a sin bin. I dont want 20 cards a game either so 5 mins off field for snide ****e

    E) end of home town calls. Did you note how many times utd players kicked the ball away v chelsea at 1-0 up. I counted 4. All ignored. We all kbow if that was utd away one would be yellowed and nobody would do it.

If anyone wants to go to the Arsenal v City semi final, City still have 2,500 tickets available as no one wants them!
