I was being ironic... Some might say moronic.

 

I always have plenty of garlic in the house, fantastic stuff.

 

Garlic is the future, past and present. There again I might be a bit biased.

 

Every day is a saint's day.

 

Not wanting to give away too much personal information, but my given name is unusual to say the least; I've never met anyone with the same name, nor have I met anyone who has said they've met someone with the same name.

Anyhow, I found out that there is a Saint (my name) and he has a feast day.

Needless to say after discovering this, I make a big deal out of it every year and not only celebrate it, but make everyone else I know celebrate it too...

Outside of my family, I never let on about when my birthday is... I sure as heck let everyone know when it's my saint day because it amuses me that I have one.

The funny thing is, one of the most common questions I get after someone butchers the pronunciation of my name is "is your name common in England?"

I used to say "no, noone can pronounce it there either.". Now I say yes, and pretend to act surprised they've never heard of it before.

 

What about National Ziggy day?

 

I googled Ziggy Day. Couldn't find one. I did see someone on Facebook is named Ziggy Day, and one family celebrated "Ziggy Day" as being the day a year after they adopted their dog, "Ziggy"
