Oh it's not really the type of goals they score. It's more what they bring to the table. Now maybe it's because of manager tactics i don't really know but its more how they play.

Kane is both footed and whilst he's slower, he's still got enough to get away from defenders. He's bigger and stronger so holds the ball up far better and although i wouldn't say he's great at passing, he's brilliant at laying the ball off and flicking it on. He gets involved in the build up a lot more.

Vardy on the other hand is more of a pure goalscorer. I don't think his movement is bad, but its definitely not brilliant like the likes of Hernandez and Owen when a game is compact. He does though make better some great runs for the long diagonals into the space which he thrived off last year and i think he's had to adapt to that as this year they've not been as useful. His style is more Defoe/Hernandez/Bent (play on the last defender and hit on the counter) which is what i have likened to one trick pony rather than doing a bit more like Kane who can do a bit of everything or like a Messi who can do it all but header

Hmm fair enough. I'd definitely say Vardy is capable with both feet and has also produced a number of assists to us. I'd agree he's not so much of a target man and if often too fast and get there on his own waiting for team mates!
One of my main points was if Vardy was 7 years younger he could learn these traits I guess whereas pace etc can't be taught. You rarely get a striker who does everything perfectly so depends who their are paired with. We've usually had a big guy like Ulloa/Slimani or a Nugent/Okazaki who hold the play up well so it's not been required. I'm not sure how good he'd be at that if needed but he scores the goals which is what we need from him

11 goals from 17 shots on target in the Premier League. Comfortably the best return in the league.

If you supply Jamie Vardy, you get guaranteed goals.

If Vardy went to Spain he would most likely have to turn into a " Bullshitfighter "

Why only shots on target out of interest?

At 23 Vardy was selling fake Burberry hats and perfumes stolen from Boots in between matches for Halifax Town and you would have him over Harry Kane?

I am in Leicester today and saw some great murals depicting Leicester City's run to the title, there was one of Vardy breaking the goal record, one of Huth winning a header, one of Raneiri saying dily dong, and a final one that said PL Champions 2016.

    Then underneath someone had written
    Relegated 2017

Hiag when did you go to Leicester ?

At 22 Ian Wright signed for Crystal Palace from Greenwich Borough ... and went on to be one of the best strikers in the country posibly in the world in his pomp ... he like Vardy has also got a Premier League title winners medal ...

Personally I'd have Vardy ... firstly because he is ours and secondly because he is capable of turning a game with a flash of individual brilliance ... that may only last for a few more years ... but there are few more exciting strikers currently plying their trade in the EPL than a fired up Vardy ... and the record breaking run of scoring in consecutive league games was a phenomenal acheivement ... and will never be forgotten by Leicester City fans because it also brought us that much prized silverwear.

Stick to seeing no further than your Spud goggles ... <ok>

still a shot taken by the said striker and a reflection of their ability, composure etc etc.

Dont you moan about players who are wasteful?
