Who the **** decided this was actually news like? As it's made the Echo as well.

It's the brain fart of some wacko kopite with an etch a sketch ffs.

It's not even got a ****ing roof <laugh>

Great vision but it will never happen. The girl who designed it is a structural and civil engineer who also came up with plans for a Liverpool Underground network. Great stuff but we're not forward thinking enough for it to happen.

A roof are you joking?? How many footie stadiums have got roofs <laugh>

And I think she's probably one of your lot, she lives on the Wirral <whistle>

They'd need to build another runway at John Lennon mate.

In fairness she's not an architect or designer so what did you expect? The most important part of her plans [in her view] is making the most of an area which includes enhancing a football ground and developing the area while it is still possible to do so. She has an idea of Liverpool as a city making some significant infrastructure improvements that [including her Underground plans] would be or could be world class. Liverpool - city of - doesn't do 'think big' unfortunately.

Just sent this to the Echo to see if they fancy doing a story on it.

You must log in or register to see images

Tell them you're not willing to pay for lego but are hoping the council will help you secure a high interest loan to buy some and they might <ok>

She's a dreamer who likes to see her name in print imo. This is nothing more than self promotion.

You don't sell out the current stadium, hence the reason the Shermans have shelved the Anfield road development.

Doubling the 54k to 108k is barking mad.

She's a civil engineer who has big ideas about putting the city on the world map in terms of infrastructure dream projects from the little I've read about her. If the Echo comes across stuff like this [and the climate change/impact on new stadium article from the other week] it's going to run with them to fill copy space.

btw if you're submitting your lego design for the new stadium, you forgot the track <whistle>
