    Missing the point as usual

I'm not repeating the reasons the two sides were different, it's in my first post

That is the only good news.
The country needs an effective opposition no matter the givernment.
At least this will see off corbyn or the labour party will split and a new party be formed.

Actually it will still be a slow process I fear but a complete rogering will help it along

    It's a 5 year term

The Tories are the party of Brexit now, if it goes wrong then things can change in 5 years. The tricky part is I see no sign yet of a real centre left alignment

The FTP is now dead in the water and every government will be back to calling elections to suit their timetable.

Take your point but the remain campaign came out with plenty of doom and gloom leave forecasts including the infamous WW3 and recession warnings, granted they weren't leave type promises but still bullshit nonetheless, that's my point. <ok>

One of the advantages of a parliamentary democracy is the ability to call a snap election when necessary

Well he was singing the praises of having a parliamentary democracy when he thought there was a chance of a second referendum, and now all of a sudden "it's just not cricket old boy" <doh>

The whole country stitched by a conspiracy of the tory right wing.
There are going to be a lot of non tories regretting their brexit vote by the time this is done.

If the tories dont at least get 50% +1 of the vote there will still be no brexit mandate...

I see your point, however I still don't see an equivalence. The main Remain fear statements were about what would happen after Brexit happened, so we don't know yet whether they were accurate or not. There were some ridiculous claims about immediate impacts but they seemed usually to come from the tory twat Osborne, and I'm not going to defend him
