Chelsea lose and the gap is down to four. It's still on for Spurs - easily the best team in the league (as they were last year).

From what I saw on a bad stream Chelsea were well beaten today. Looking at both their run ins though, I'll be very happily surprised if Chelsea don't win it.

This just has to be the most ludicrous penalty dive you'll ever see, yet the ref gave it and Ross County pinched a 2-2 draw...

Think that's bad? Drop down a division up here, the quality of refereeing would struggle to grace a Sunday league game on Hackney Marshes!

I am surprised with this one though, as it's usually the Old Firm that get all the decisions their way.

Are the refs still sponsored by Specsavers up there? Perhaps they should change it to the Blind League...

Yes - you couldn't make it up <laugh> the standard of reff'ing is bad, and the amount of abuse they get borders on criminal. Most grounds I've been to have very little seperation from stands to pitch, and most lower league grounds are standing, so even the young kids are shouting abuse at the linesmen - not a job I would want to do.

Not sure if they have proffessional refs up here, as they do in England?

Edit - no the refs aren't full time, but here's what they get per.match...

    Payments for Scottish referees
Current match fees - Premiership £840; Championship £195; League One £150; League Two £150
    2014/15 backdated offer - Premiership £840; Championship £240; League One £170 ; League Two £160
    2016/2017 'minimum' fees - Premiership £850; Championship £260; League One £180; League Two £165

mystery how we got 4 points from Fulham. If they don't go up via the play-offs this season, I'd fancy their chances for automatic promotion next season. Got a couple of cracking players and a decent side all round

Huddersfield 1-0 up at Derby, could be breathing down Rafa's neck on the run-in...

Must admit I just feel a little bit jealous here, the best team with the best manager in one of the best stadiums in the division. I remember when they were slumming it at the Withdean so they've earned their moment. Go back 20 years and it was a last day shoot-out to stay in the Football League at Hereford who needed a win but a draw saved Brighton...

    1997...

Fair play to them they've been the stand-out team in the division, and nice to see Chris Hughton do well.

Perhaps the best thing today is Leeds dropping out of the play-off places, they seem to have bombed at the right time...

He knows he's not got it in him to keep them up. Their fixtures are horrible. At least a new man- anyone- might get a bit of a bounce out of them.

Shame as they're the only Midlands club I like.
